i have joints pains and sever depression and smoking weed is the olny thing that helps legalize it we as ppl need it to live its not a part of life it is life legalize it already
Well, some of us choose to do that and some of us choose to stand and defend our rights. Medical Marijuana will most definitely pass in NC. We just have to educate our lawmakers against years of propaganda and lies. We have been working 24/7 for 2 1/2 years in this state now and we will not stop until patients have a safe, legal access.
Everyone knows that trafficking MARIJUANA IS PROHIBITED. And where laws, permits TRAFFICKING MARIJUANA, and why it does not legalize, as alcohol and tobacco?? I DO NOT KNOW WHOM ADDRESSED THIS QUESTION? WHY DO PEASANTS OF THE EARTH, NOT can grow marijuana, and take HARVEST STATES, thus improving their social position and billions INCOME IN STATE PENALTY. WHY DOES THIS MAFIA? WHY SO PROFITABLE BUSINESS NOT monopolized by the state ????? Who Benefits?
The simplest solution is to allow citizens to grow as much as they need. However, in NC the law is so convoluted, the greatest penalty is applied to persons caught growing: the state seizes the property and leaves that person homeless. My friend who is dying of cancer must get his from a Mexican.
please pass this bill i am not a criminal i am a patients who has found the only medicine that works for me ...i am a chronic pain sufferer with multible back surgeries fusions etc why am i a criminal? i dont do drugs dont smoke dont drink i only smoke marijuana to relieve my pain.. why is the nc govt so out of touch with us
i only hope as a active patient this bill passes im not a criminal . I have never done drugs i dont drink i dont smoke . But i do use marijuana it is the only medicine that controls my chronic pain ive had several back surgeries fusions etc and am on disability why should i suffer due to an out of touch govt in n.c
@MrCAROLINAKUSH I hope you can get it. My brother has had sever back pain for many years now and uses Vicoden to control it but I am worried he will become addicted. He is as well and he ends up not taking vicoden when he needs to it because he beleives it's worth it to put up with that kind of pain to avoid addiction. So I can sympathise with you and hope NC does what's right for it's patients.
It is unfortunate in AMERICA that most states will seize the property of citizens caught growing cannabis, leaving them homeless. The sensible, logical solution is to allow responsible adults to grow as much as they need. How convoluted is a law that applies the greatest penalty to the simplest solution?
Americans, native, immigrants and all have lived with an authoritarian government system for decades, perhaps ever since the civil war severely limited states' rights. THe new era of America will simply have to relinquish much of its legal authority in order for simple social functions to continue efficiently, and drug legalization will be a critical act in that regard. Until that point however, there's absolutely no reason to risk a trafficking or felony possession charge
It is currently stuck in the Health committee. Legislators are saying they are only going to address the budget and no controversial issues until the short session is over. However, they are trying to ram through a bill which will cost the state $700 Million just to implement which says that anyone arrested, not convicted, but arrested, for a felony will be DNA tested!!!
If we pressure our legislators as well as the Speaker of the House, Joe Hackney, then we have a slim chance. Call Them Now!
If N.C. lawmakers do not pass this bill during the short session, they owe it to the patients to pass HB 1383 and allow the citizens to grant compassion to the citizens. The elected officials in our state may not be in touch with the public, but the public is well aware and educated regarding medical marijuana. The patients deserve equal rights and equal protection. Thanks Mr. Scales for looking out for the sick and suffering citizens in our state. I wish you were a lawmaker!
not to mention all the legal hops ,road blocks and catch 22 just so these people get the benefits of marijuana this is why medical marijuana laws don't work. sorry but legalize marijuana is the only true answer
the answer is to legalize and allow the people decide to who it would benefit not the single minded government bureaucracy bullshit that hinders the people that it can really help.
Go nc!!
