  • Well it's not bad, but I mean, there's no real innovation from the original... Plus they're clearly not as talented, but who is?^^

  • this is shit

  • It's too straight, less Groove than Stones. And solo is shit. Keith Richards is MUCH better

  • This is some cover version.

The Groovies never ever sold out.

  • i wish the stones sounded like this

  • Dig your graves, Stones. Here's the goddamned Groovies.

  • @bobyoung53 True and I've done it in bands both ways as well. The way with the single note bass is more the traditional groove (as opposed to power/heavy metal) and my preferred way. The band just has to lay back on the guitars and let the bass and drums carry it. Its the same with Satisfaction...it can be done.

  • Yes better than the Stones live but they make the mistake of changing the bass line (like the Stones did live) which destroys the original groove of the song - Charlie and Bill's well oiled rhythm machine in high gear!!!

    This is my opinion :)

  • the groovies the best rock band ever

  • Very good version, they seem to have listened to and copied the live studio version that is considered definitive (next to the lp original of course.) and that is why this sounds good ... right down to the "yeh yeh ... my my ..."

  • are incomparable!

  • How I love these guitar sounds...

  • @ortuno ampeg dan amstrong guitars

  • I don't like to say this is better than the

original, well.... say that this a miracle !

  • awesome monumental guitar breaks

any more like this ?are there?

  • played this to death in the 70s then lost the tape

    nice groovy long guitar breaks

  • An amazing record. Rips the Stones to shreds and spits it out.

  • Bar band

  • @FutureMrsDarcy no the best rock band band from the frisco era

  • @FutureMrsDarcy And your point is?

  • @marmiteboy99 except for the nondesript vocals

  • @marmiteboy99 Really ?????????????????????

  • @marmiteboy99 Even The groovies wouldn't agree with you.Acceptable cover though.

No one betters The Stones ,except Bowie's "Let's Spend The Night Together",that's where your comment would be at place.

  • This version was an inspiration to me! I love how the FG's just seem to be able to chime in whenever they feel like it on vocals and guitars, and yet it somehow works!

  • Just one gnarly ass version of this song. Thanks for posting! Always thought this was better than any performance I've heard the Stones do.
