  • Pretty cool. I used to go over there and visit. Bobby Sanders and I used to go over there from Gary and enjoy services. We liked to go to The First Church of Deliverance and their services. We had a good time. We got to know the cats in the band too. Wow I kind of miss it. That was 15-20 years ago.

  • this song makes you get up and dance. AMEN

  • why it seem like pastor cut off the saints praisin? lol

  • Cuz when you're paying big bucks for an hour on the air... you have to use your time wisely. You gotta move on to the Word at some point. Church folks will shout a whole expensive hour away. Watching folks shout instead of hearing the word can't deliver or save anyone.

  • u kno, i never thought of it in that fashion...ask and ye shall receive, lol that makes good sense....but i shole felt a move tho, :)

  • Yea. All of my videos are from an hour long tv broadcasts, so they have an hour to prayer, singing, praise and get some word in, you gotta budget your time ..lol

  • You know...looking at the video and reading all of the comments posted...it makes me think the following: A.) Where has the church gone? B.)Where are the Saints of God and C.) You DARE not sing and/or shout like they do in this video now days in church without getting a stare/frown and/or a look of dismay. This type of shouting is unacceptable now you must "Praise/Worship 21st Century Style," Flags and chanting, mwhat a SHAME!!! I will stick with what brought us and thats when we had real saints

  • @ColemanDTC I joined the "Ship" many years ago. Man we were shouting and dancing like they are on this video clip then. The Holy Spirit always had residence in the "Ship". Even though I live in another state Fellowship is still my home church.

  • I didin't know that they shouted OMG I really love that church!

  • i have to say i have never saw a church that have church all the time. the spirit moves in that church all the time. i miss when people shout in church like they do in clay evans church

  • I don't know what I love more, the singing or the worshiping! That's my kinda church!

  • Yes!!!! I remember 9pm brodcast on Sunday nites. Fellowship was one of my favorite church choirs.

  • THEY DOIN THE CHITOWN BUMP AINT THEY???lol

  • FOOL AIN'T YOU!

  • Rev. Clay Evans is a wonderful man of God. I love his ministry. I'm grateful to God for his faithful ministers.

  • Such a strong, and clear voice. She doing some kind of singing, and don't let me forget St. James Rev. Nicks sing this song til the Holy ghost fall.

  • OMG!!!!!!! YALL JUS don't know!! I grew up on this song. Sunday Night service. NO PREACHIN cause the Holyghost tow up da church!!! AHHH!! THANK YA!!!!

  • yesss i remember my church (Mt Carmel Holy Assembly Baptist Church in Los Angeles) singin this when i was younger. Deacon Heads would have the saints runnin' around the church and shoutin' off this song!!

  • I use to love the Fellowship hour. I love to hear her sing "All my help". Go ahead and sing then.

  • is this shirley bell?

  • Now, do you HAVE to ask? LOL You know that's Shirley Bell!!! Bless you.

  • u right....lol

  • hey, where is she?

  • There was a Maggie Bell that used to sing with the Tommies wayyyyy back in the day. Related?

  • This song was made by the GREATEST MINISTER OF MUSIC THAT EVER WALKED THE EARTH! Jimmy Dowell of the St. James Baptist Church of Detroit,MI! Uncle J.D was THEE BEST! St. James would tear this song up! Detroit misses u J.D!

  • Shirley was singing her tail off and them Ushers were doing the 2 step

  • Yes, Mrs. Bell did sing quite well; nevertheless, the Holy Ghost showed up and used Pastor Evans to usher all who heard into a praise/worship mode with a call to repentance all at the same time. The MINISTRY is truly in the Word connection to God. This is such a blessing!!

  • I Love this song!!! This song will take us ALL THE WAY IN when we sing it in a COGIC church...

  • Bless you ChiOne07. Wheew....flashback. I too am totally blessed by this and other clips from the SHIP. I am from Maryland. I remember tuning in for years to live Sunday night services over chicago stations that we could get signals from here in MD. I lived to hear Evangilest York's distinctive voice as she announced the song leader's name as well as the song. My God what a blessing!!!

  • I grew up in a Holy Ghost filled Baptist Church like this! We would dance, shout, lay hands, and speak in tounges. Because Jesus is King!

  • I was about to be upset he cut that off like that when they was just getting started, but I see the spirit was in that place they didn't need any shout music.

  • question, does anybody know how rev. evans and the church got to be so spirit filled when traditionally baptists didn't have church this way? does anyone know his testimony?

  • it's simple, THEY LET THE HOLY GHOST HAVE IT'S WAY!!

    be blessed.

  • AMEN!!! they just let go and let god.

  • AMEN!!!! they just let go and let god.

  • "Laron214" I really wish people would stop speaking in iggnorance regarding Baptist, AME, or any denomination that does not have a "COGIC" or "Holiness" label on the outside of the church. Holiness is a way of life and not a denomination! Most Baptist churches I have been to are just like this. We dont tend to shout on "Q" when told, but rather let the Spirit move naturally as in this clip. Just remember to "judge not lest ye be judged."

  • i don't think that was an ignorant question, especially since i was a spirit filled baptist at one time myself. neither was i judging, i was asking a question about the church and rev. evans. i've been to many spirit filled baptist churches also, and also come from one. i said traditionally, this was not the way baptists had church especially back in the day.

  • Well I apologize then...I just misunderstood what you were saying. But why did he have to have some type of "testimony" to praise God?!?! I mean im sure that he does as we all do but it is very possible that he just realized that the Lord is GOOD and DESERVES his praises!!! I am only 26 but this is just how my church and many other Baptist/AME churches that I have been to have always had church. It's a sterotype more than anything.

  • it's cool, it's very common to see all kinds of churches and people praising God now. i can remember when people would look at you like you were crazy or drag you outside and fan you to death if you started with all of that shouting. the message has spread so far and wide now that you almost can't tell one church from another. but back in the day a lot of churches felt like this kind of praise was undignified and was only for the poor and uneducated. thank God for the change.

  • Yeah I feel you on that. Glad to have passed these few messages with you!

  • you too. have a blessed holiday. and keep on shoutin'!!!

  • I just love this clip!! I watch it often because it reminds me of how church used to be before all of the extra stuff that goes on in many churches today. Just letting the Spirit have His way!!! Too many churches just dont do it like this anymore. Shout out to my church though...Union Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, VA where the Rev. W. Samuel Walton is pastor. This is how we do it!!!

  • That sista singing that song like she know what she's singing about!

  • Oh bless the lord, my kind of church before all the contemporary

  • one of my favorite songs

  • Such a powerful anointing....thank you for posting this....true move of the presence of God in that place.

  • Praise Him Fellowship!!! this song has precious memories for me as well, my late uncle sang the original version of this with the late Rev. Charles Nicks and the St. James Missionary Baptist Church Adult Choir of Detroit.

  • #:53... Man, he took his self in with that claping!!!

  • I tell you who ever didn't get a blessing on that day was sho'nuff crazy. I feel the Holy Ghost already.
