I'm sorry but there has GOT to be a safer way to restrain suspects! That is not safe. Having those yellow straps hiking the lap portion of the belt that high up can be deadly. The lap belt is just that, a LAP belt. It is to positions low on the hips so in the event of an accident, the pelvis takes most of the force. That belt that high will leave delicate inner organs that are unprotected in danger. This is the fast track to internal hemorrhaging.
