Its true that korea has a large number company-produced groups that are based around pop and dancing. but everybody does it. almost all the popular music in America is just all is company produced mainstream trash that is all about dancing and pop. Personally I believe that Korean mainstream is much much much better than most music from America, and that is from a citizen of the United States.

Also look at japan they probably have twice the number of groups korea does but their market is doing very well. And they are not ashamed of idol groups like Koreans are they totally appreciate and are proud of that music. Taiwan and china is almost all idol pop music with nothing else. Are idols something to be ashamed of? You still must admit that most of those people do have big talent. Koreas music industry is also booming and very progressive and has a lot of diversity and variety.

There are so much great and new artists aside from the mainstream pop. And they do hold considerable popularity but not as much as idol groups of course. EXAMPLES: a variety of rock music; nell, Loveholic, the melody, mc the max, the trax, pia, younha, cherry filter, seo taiji, novasonic, jaurim, dear cloud, and w&whale, etc

For rap: Drunken tiger, tasha, mc sniper, epic high, all the rappers of The Movement and Buddha sound, dynamic duo, leessang, psy, the outsider, kebee, mc mong, etc

For r&b and ballad which korea excels in: gummy, lyn, wheesung, park hyo bin, tasha, k.will, sg wannabe, VOS, big mamma, tim, eru, brown eyes, sung shi kyung, kim dong ryul, hwayobi, fly to the sky , brown eyes, etc

For amazing older vocal singers: yim jae bum, lee seung chul, lee sun hee, in sooni, young jong shin, shin seung hoon, kang sangeh,

For new and come out genres (which korea definitely has a lot of): clazziquai, casker, EE, louviet and telicob, House rulez, namolla family, psy, lee jung hyun, turtles, norazo and a lot lot more

And then of course is the uncountable pop artists and groups which includes both very good and very bad.

You really shouldnt judge your country so horrifically in comparison with other countries the industry is about the same I would say better.

thats why Korean music is starting to get some respect nowadays and there are a lot of kpop fans but I think theyre more attracted to the pop sense of Korean music.

About downloading korea only does it so much because its a technologically advanced country.

In the united states about half of the young population does illegal downloading too and thats with a much greater population. and I spent about 2 hours trying to prove you wrong.

이번 앨범은 W로서는 3집이구요, 이전에 코나라는 그룹리더인 배영준씨는 원래 코나라는 이름으로 활동했었죠.

전작에 비해 달라진건 신인가수인 Whale이 메인보컬로 참여 했단 정도 밖에...1집은 아니죠.

이번앨범 정말 좋습니다. 다른곡들에 비교하면 오히려 R.P.G.shine이 떨어진단 느낌인데요, 뭐 재미있는 뮤직비디오는 정말 잘 만든듯
