  • what was the episode at 0:36 ?

  • If this goes anything like in Marvel, the Anti-Reg heroes will have help from around the world, in marvel, the SRA was so blaently disregarding of the US Constitution, and even human rights to such a degree, a global alliance of against the USA resulted. In Marvel, I side with Captain America or DCU I side with Batman, but I doubt the Guardians would let any GLC members side with the pro-regs, as the GLC protects liberty, any GL siding with the pro-regs would be a blatent violation of that rule.

  • dont get me wrong but id like to sasy... batman could most likely kill every dc hero if he truly wanted to. and if they all broke out into a random fight, id like to honestly say last standing people would be batman, flash, superman... and a couple others. but still. i mean flash is always ignored for the power he has. ;3

  • I dont know his name. wat's his name at 2:52?

  • Good Job...this is an amazing Video and an incredible plot for a DCAU movie.....the most significant aspect is that "Batman going rogue and going against the Justice League".....We all know that BATMAN is awesome and he is the best Role model for any super-hero, no body beats him but if he goes Bad.....then we are in for a reall fun and thrilling ride.......LOVE THEY WAY U HAVE PUT THE THINGS INTO PLACES.....u should definitely submit ur Idea to Warner Bros....all u need is a secondary plot.

  • In a way, wasn't Marvel Civil war a take off on DC's Kingdom Come?

  • There were at least a few in the marvel civil war that were imprisoned even with no super powers.

  • Is that the plot of the last year or so of "Smallville"? With the regestration act and all that going on.

  • The civil war would end in a tower of babel sort of way. Batman has a plan and backup plan for every single superhero, should they ever go rogue in anyway. And, he'd have help with the anti-registration heroes.

  • 1:00 anyone???

  • whoever has the batman on his/her side is sure to win

  • Not bad but the music is so loud compared to the voices.

  • BATMAN IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!

  • Personally, I find the concept of the civil war story in Marvel to be an idea that work better for an intellectual debate rather than having the characters fight over it, but from I've heard it didn't help the writers working on the story and its tie-ins didn't really communicate as to what the act actually entailed.

  • @dragonstormx

Except when you are rebelling against the Law, you don't tend to walk up to the Police Officer and kindly say why you are rebelling. You either run and are hunted down or you fight for your beliefs because if you don't you get locked up in a cell.

  • @RatchildUK

That's what the civil rights movement did.

But to get to the point, Civil War had a fairly shaky foundation since the whole start of the registration act was because super heroes acted against a new regime in Lateveria that was plotting against the U.S and the government didn't believe SHIELD's warnings. So really, the problems that the government was trying to solve are not solely because of the super heroes. Going even further than that, depending on the version, the registration-

  • violates the bill of rights.

  • @dragonstormx

It was Atom destroying the city that cemented the registration act.

What I'm saying is how on earth could they have had a discussion, one side wanted to imprison the other for not conforming. You can't reason with the Law.

  • @RatchildUK

The Pro-Registration side was more aggressive because the writers wanted to make the characters fight, under a sensible storyline that wouldn't have happened.

  • @dragonstormx

If they didn't fight they would have been anti reg. They were made super police officers, if they didn't do it they themselves would be anti reg.

  • @dragonstormx

Also the act was to make Superheroes work directly for the government and to give up their identities to make civilians feel safer. In other words to make them there slaves.

Iron Man and Spidey originally were Pro so no matter what I was always on their side lol.

  • @RatchildUK

From what I heard there was very poor communication as to what the act entailed. And there is also the problem that not letting super heroes have identities means that their enemies will attack them 24/7, the public would hardly feel secure if that was going on.

  • Love the ref to Marvel's civil war

  • Very well done!

  • When you think about it, Batman wouldn't be required to sign up for the Superhuman registration Act, since the registration called for any people with super powers.

But then again, Batman does have the batglare

    :P

  • @essboarder23 Good point. That doesn't mean however, that he would not get involved. Besides i guess he would first have to prove that he has no powers. All the goverment knows for sure is that he co-founded the JL, defeats guys like Clayface and Killer Croc on a daily basis and that Superman considers him one of the most dangerous men on Earth. If you don't read the comics it might be hard to believe we're talking about a guy with no superpowers :D

  • @Brejan

he has a superbrain and is a genius, so you can call his intelligence a superpower.

  • @essboarder23 Bruce would actually be the head of it. If you think about the two in very close parallels, Batman would do what Tony chose to do. I also would think that Wally would suffer Johnny's fate and be the one to get bruised and battered.

  • @aoinatafanboy84

I doubt Bruce would do what Tony did, playing judge and jury with heroes that hadn't registered and then sentencing them to harsher punishments that villains, and having villains help him carry all of it.

  • @dragonstormx Actually, he would and has. Bruce always keeps kryptonite tucked away in his utility belt. He also has a firm dislike for Aliens as well. Plus Clark is the earth's champion which is the same as Captain America. It all just takes a discerning eye. I suppose you don't disagree with Flash being the martyr?

  • @aoinatafanboy84

Okay, I know about the stuff he has incase some super heroes go rogue, but simply not refusing to register from a government act is not the same as a heel turn. Besides, do you REALLY think that he would let supervillains out of jail to hunt superheroes and then just let them run free like Tony did?

  • @dragonstormx That is true, Batman wouldn't go that far. I do have to agree with you on. I still have given some of the statistics a chance and some thought. I mean the author did his job to get others really thinking about it. I also get the feeling that Wonder Woman would react the same as Sue Richards.

  • @aoinatafanboy84

Well in any case, I think that super heroes against register wouldn't go resorting to violence, since even if Batman were for registering, he wouldn't Nazi like Iron Man did.

I'll just go out and say that I think the idea behind Civil War doesn't really work with characters fighting over it, I think having them debate over it would make more sense.

  • @aoinatafanboy84

Batman would never go Iron Man's way. Yes, he has a history of distrusting other heroes and so on, but he wouldn't support goverment control over them. It's Batman who said "of course we're criminals. We've always been criminals". The whole idea of Batman is to work outside the system. Not to be bound by rules and rights. However he also realises the dangers of vigilantism, that's why he keeps an eye on everyone. "Who watches the watchers"? For Bats it's "we watch each other".

  • @Brejan Yeah you are right at that point. The more opinions that float around on it, it does seem that he has some qualities but not all of the same. It's still as I said. You got me thinking on the topic and from there it all seemed to build itself up.

  • @essboarder23 somepeople can argue that his power is super smarts.

  • @essboarder23 yeah bro batman's merely superhuman he can bench press 1000lbs

  • nice

  • This was very creative. I liked it. Badass job.

  • Wha is the name of the song, and artist?? :)) sorry i've got blackout...

  • @TheLunamoon837 one is Orff's O Fortuna, the other is batman begins theme.

  • whats the episode where sups is all up in batmans face

  • @SuperMicklovin that's the first batman superman movie, with the joker & luthor teaming up

  • I'm not a big DC buff, but I've always seen Captain America as the Superman of Marvel, in terms of character. I couldn't see Superman being Pro-Registration since his ideals are so in line with Captain America's. I mean a lot of people would've never expected Cap to rebel against the government. He stands for Truth, Justice, and the American Way just like Superman

    American Way =/= American Government

  • nice! imagine if they actually made a comic or episode like this trailer

  • superman vs batman- superman tries to scare him by picking up buildings and throwing cars. once superman is done he's all in batmans face, then batman takes out a bag with a tiny peace of kriptonite. superman-owned batman-its that easy lol

  • This is absolutely Epic and I love how you actually used the real Justice league plus some Batman shows to do this. If I could describe this in one word it would be EPIC.

  • Great editing!

Which 'side' are some of the others (Canary, Arrow, Wildcat, Question, Fire, Shayera & Vixen) are on. It didn't seem too clear, at least to me *nervous heh*

  • @CharmedSerenity Arrow is against government (obviously ;) how could Ollie ever agree to that?) so is Canary. Question too (as is made clear by the second trailer, check it out). I actually think Batman, Green Arrow and Question would make the "core" of the rebels. Those three would never even consider complying with Registration Act. As to Fire, Shayera & Vixen... I'm reall not shure myself :D

  • @Brejan

    Gotcha, thanks, ^_^

  • @Brejan Green Arrow is a pinko douche nozzle, who suffers way to much liberal guilt for being wealthy. Question is an anarchist with slightly patriotic leanings,

  • @Brejan If Superman and Batman were the only ones on 1 side, i.e. Against or For, then there would be no stopping that side xD.

  • @Brejan: Vixen would comply (I would think). She's a very public figure. Shayera I could see switching sides...she was a cop, and understands the law. But she's also stubborn and a rebel. Wildcat probably would comply, since it would be the easiest for him to continue fighting. Fire probably would too, as she is a very public figure in the comics (establishing herself as Brazil's main hero, super model, etc). My guesses.

  • Very cool trailer and manipulation of existing Justice League scenes but I hope DC characters never have their own Civil War Dark Knight Returns and Kingdom Come was enough for me. The video is still epic though.

  • that was awesome! nice work. Love the music and the use of the "lights out, old chum" line

  • Actually, DC did have its own version of the Registration Act. It was called the Keene Act, and though it only took place in the Watchmen continuity, it was still pretty divisive.

  • Now I feel like writing a fanfic of this sort of plot.....

  • @Renagade2332 Do it. RIGHT NOW.

  • @Dannondorf When I have the time I will. It is an epic plot.

  • HEY BREJAN, WHY EVERYBODY LOSES??? WE GOT THE BEST VIDEO OF JUSTICE LEAGUE EPISODES EVER MADE RIGHT HERE!!

THANKS A LOT FOR DOING IT

    :)

  • Thus proving why Batman is the GREATEST threat to the Justice League if they were to ever piss him off. GO BATS!!

  • so epic espacully with batmans 1 liners

  • Marvel Civil War was better =P

  • cool video man great ob

  • meow was that tim daly at 1:04? sexy

  • lol

  • heres a quick list of my opinion on who would be on what side batman:against superman:for captain marvel:against martian manhunter:wouldnt care green lantern:for i guess hawk woman:against flash:not sure wonder woman:for green arrow:against the question:definitely against and im sure you have your own opinion and you can come up with reasons with or against my choices but yeah
  • I always wondered what kind of Civil War can be in DC Universe. Batman and Question definitely anti-reg, Captain Atom - pro-reg (he already sided with government against JL). I'm not sure about Superman (because I remember DKR) and Wonder Woman (she DOESN"T need secret identity).

  • Sides will be chosen?

If yes, then i am with the bat. He has plans to save himself and JL in every critical situations and also to defeat anyone who goes against him (even superman).

  • Batman shall own them all...have anyone read the comic with Batman's secret files on ALL the members of Justice League?? He has plans for ALL of them...hehe

  • @dssaee WAT EVER LOOK FOR THE LAS TIME DIS TRAILER WAS OK BUT DIS IS NUFFIN JLU HAS NOTHING 2 FEAR BE SURE TO SEE MY MOVIE DC VS MARVELNOW DATS DA SHIT

  • I often have wondered what the Civil War would have like in the DCU. Please tell me that Batman doesn't pull an Iron Man!

  • That was really good. The clips really went with the theme.

  • Wow... just... wow... what a brilliant concept... amazing mixing/splicing. Just GREAT on every level. I'm speechless at the sheer magnitude of this videos awesomeness.

    5 STARS!!!

  • This was an awesome video, a definite cool "What If?" scenerio. As to who I'd vote for, I'd definitely say that Batman would be against the act, or like Spider-Man, switch from pro to anti if the fighting got too out of hand. I'd have to agree with a few others in that Superman may be the DC equivalent to Iron Man in the Civil War, but I'm not so sure about any of the others, in terms of which side they'd be on.

  • awsome job

  • It's kinda like Identity Crisis with a twist. A MARVEL-twist that is (looks at Civil War trade)

  • good job

  • what is the episode where batman says this is the single dumbest plan i have ever heard

  • @JamesAndEdwardfan300 Panic in the Sky

  • That would be a pretty rockin' JL movie, I have to say!

  • Well done.

  • Batman is the best DC character.

  • Hey everyone, list which heros would be on what side in the civil war. Like Batman would be against the goverment and so on.

  • I wonder what side Batman would be on if there was a civil war in DC like in Marvel? Sometimes I wish that Batman was owned by Marvel since he's the only DC character I like but obviously DC wouldn't give away the rights to one of their most popular characters but hey, I can dream.

  • they both good dude, dc sure isnt pure original in character wise. but dc do one thing that marvel doenst, forcus on american hero theme. and got the most epic theme song

  • He would be against the goverment. There's no way in hell he'd give up is idenitiy

  • I definitely think that you're right. Batman would most likely not give up his identity to the government if DC had a Civil War like Marvel. Or, at the worst, Batman would be like Spider-Man, in that he may register, but as soon as the fighting went too far (somebody dying, for instance) Batman would switch sides in a heartbeat.

  • whats the episode 1:14 to 1:15

  • Justice League starcrossed.

  • @comedeyzone Starcrossed

  • I would just like to say that Superman is the symbol for all that is Super. He does have all his powers, but I think that makes him even more of a hero. "Any man can stand against adversity. If you want to test a man's character, give him power." The fact that he still hasn't conqured the world is why I think he is a hero.

Overall, I thought it was a very well done trailer and liked your split of the heros; 5 stars.

*All thoughts come from DCAU. Quote from Abe Lincoln.

  • They put that quote in inFamous.

  • like I said if superman were to reveal his secret identity due to his conections to every superhero's identity would be in danger do you really think superman would be that careless as to put all those people in danger as well as there families odds are I see superman being neutral if there ever was a civil war in DC only stepping in when he's generally needed.

  • superman a nobody are you really that biased against him? you realize he is considered the greatest hero the world has ever known by many and you can't really call batman a national treasure since he's basically considered a myth by the general public. also batman is actually really paranoid since he thinks that meta humans need to be kept in check odds are he would join the pro registration side just to carry out this plan

  • No he would not , he does think they need to be kept in check but NOT by the goverment. He would be agaisnt the act, knowing full well what it could be mean that the politians had control over them.

  • VERY WELL DONE!

  • lol i would say batmans team would win...

inless ur including the villians.. caus then luthor would be in it.. and he is the one guy hews on par with bats. i didnt rely like marvels civil war cause balnce of power was tipped in iornmans favor for most of the story.. i think dc would do a better job..

  • what is 1:27? Please?

  • Starcrossed- JL season 2 finale.

  • that was good

  • Are you people fucking serious.? Superman is a nobody what the hell would he lose. Bats is a multi billionare with psychotic bloodthirsty enemies. Even though he is my hero, I don't think even he could run from the world. And what the fuck you mean Supes can handle his enemies better? Metallo is the only one that can kill him the quickest. Now picture metal head and the rest of them. Supes would'nt last an hour ( on the account of all of them having fun first). Besides I didnt agree with Marvels

  • Registration Act. If DC had one i'd be even more against it. With Marvel I really didnt choose a side, but with DC, BATMAN ALL THE WAY! If you dont choose wit him, well your just another Boyscout arent you?

  • It would never work. DC heroes have a long tradition of not playing to the government's tune.

  • The DCU also seems to trust its heroes more than the Marvel U.

  • @DRAI517 well, If dc had a registration act, batman and martian manhunter would probably be the ones to remain nuetral, kind of like the x-men were for marvel's

  • @DRAI517 You know, there are other cool characters in the entire DC universe then just Batman. Not saying he doesn't diserve respect, but it's kinda some amature n00bness to think he's just "it."

  • He's the only one, really? I dont see Black Lighting fly or zipping around, nor the Canary,Zatanna. I dont think all of them can breathe in space. A lot of them need assistance from the others from time to time. Doesnt Wonder Women have a jet? She can fly right?lol

P.S.: SUPERMAN CAN KISS MY ASS! Need I say more?

  • yes dude you win. whatever helps you sleep at night.. now go play in traffic

  • lol lame comeback

  • you know the reason Batman doesn't have superpower is because he DOESN'T NEED THEM! Batman is a symbol for human perfection or achievement, take away Supre'man's powers and all you have is an annoying little boy, trying to make the world into wha the thinks is right. That's why Superman is the one who always take away the right of human...Batman doens't, he know he answer to the law one day but he HUMAN and Kal-EL ISN'T. I beleive Batman has more right than Superman, that's why he's a better man

  • Superman is really a no-body, Batman on the other hand is a National treasure. His family and Freind would he murder and he'd loss everything he had, his parents legaucy. Superman also has his fortess

  • If anyone had read the Kingdom Come story. that story is close 2 a civil war.

  • more then likely it'd be superman going against the registration act seeing as how if he ever revealed his identity to the public he'd lose far more then batman.

  • Yeah you got a point.

  • How so? Superman wouldn't lose anything, accept maybe for his privacy. Batman on the other hand would probably end up as a fugitive, with both the police and all his enemies going after him, and no longer afraid of the Dark Knight knowing him to be just a man.

  • but most of superman's friends and family would be in danger seeing as how he has as many enemies as batman if not more.

  • but Superman can actually handle his enemies easily. He can actually defend the people he cares about unlike Batman would be able too. Supes has his parents and Lois Lane. He can take care of them. Add in people at the Daily Planet if you want but Supes could handle it no problem.

  • And? He has superpower, coming out would change that while if Batman come out he loss his biggest advantage. Keep yur friend close but your enemies closer - the joker and all would know how to break him - throught his family.

  • If this had been a trailer. I would seen the movie.

  • :L:L!

    Awesome!

My favourite part had to be the,

"You know something Bruce, you're not always right"

    "What?!"

"I think we've been set up."

    :L:L

    Batman wrong? No!?

  • my best bit was when batman said

"this is the single dumbest plan I've ever heard!" lol

  • I think unfortunatly for superman, Bruce is alway right in the end....and he hate that about him.... Bruce is more a SUPER'man' that he is.

  • actually, the quote from the episode proves Batman isn't always right. He said darkseid couldn't survive that explosion and as the last JLU episode shows,HE DID SURVIVE!

  • Actually, Batman was rigth back than. Darkseid didn't survive the explosion. He got resurrected in the JLU finale, but to be resurrected you have to die first :)

  • Very good, indeed a DC civil war would be really cool

  • And in the end, the Bat takes a bullet.

Great job of splicing the parts together.

  • Revolver Ocelot: "Heh...you're pretty good...AAAAGH my ulcer!"

lol Well done chief; every time I see the Question I just automatically crack up laughing.

  • Nice very well put together

  • Amazing, I would be against the registration act

  • bravo.

  • haha cool

  • that would be a good question. If the DC universe had that registration act, who would be for it and who would be against it?

  • Superman for and Batman against. Superman always respects the law, but Batman has gone over the law a few times to get to his goal. So yes, I would see Superman as Iron Man and Batman as Captain America...if you get my meaning.

  • I agree.

Batman has allways been a vigilante however while Cap was a soldier, so it seems more reasonible for bats to be the elader of the resistance.

    Outsiders anyone?

  • good editing

  • Wow. Amazing and well done!

  • very good.
