i loaded the MIDI file into FL Studio my remixing program and then change the instruments and stuff with a soundfont

Yeah, but Off The Wall's overall sound was heavily influenced by disco, being released in '79 when the genre was still prominent. It was Thriller that marked his transition into other genres.

Dag I swear I can hear this as a 2011 remix. That beat has a more techno punch than disco, and the vibe is more hyped than the laid back original. Faithful but adding something new :)
