My father and grandfather both died from very brutal cancers (father when I was only 9). This song does about as much justice as possible when it comes to what cancer is like in reality. I haven't suffered from it, but seeing my father forced into paraplegia and hearing how my mother held my grandfather when he dropped below 90 pounds before he died is pretty damn horrific. Anyway, can't wait for the album.

these are really powerful lyrics, my grandmother had cancer, and i was 6 years old at that time. There's no way I would be able to realize what she was going through or how she was suffering and these lyrics paint at least a part of that picture.

Hey so to clarify- this song is not meant to be offensive to people with cancer. The song was written about how terrifyingly fragile our lives are, and my own fears on death. Cancer is something that is very real that can strike from seemingly nowhere. Its horrifying. That is why it is in the song. It is likely to happen to me one day (family history), and I find that extremely scary.

It may have some qualities of Death Metal but it's just not a good fusion. Deathcore has basically been that way since it was invented. It somehow got really big so then the record companies jumped on it like a hunter on prey and basically made huge money off of it. All these bands and record companies care about is money.
