It's a lot worse here in the UK I pay about $8.50 a US gallon... You guys complain but you have it so easy compared to the lorry industry here and normal people...I'm not saying you don't have it hard, But lorry drivers here don't only have high fuel costs to compete with, other lorrys that come from frnace where fuel is cheaper, hence foreign lorrys are more competative if they don't fill up here! $4.5 pergallon is a stupid amount of tax.. You guys pay little tax it could be worse!!
Fuel then brokers hiding under a umbrella of secrecy, 935 carriers with 10 or more trucks fell last month. Costs are up at the store, but rates are not being passed to the trucks. The middle guys are padding their pockets. The shippers are dictating the rates. Big bank brokers. When secrecy of rates is allowed, people become very Powerful. Consumers pay a high price for this secrecy.
We have no negotiation out here. We could use the consumers help to tell Congress what is going on. Corruption!
Well they bitch and complain but they fucking went to washington dc from all over the country, and dont tell me they didnt pay for the gas! what the fuck are you truckers thinking? Stop bitching and just fucking spend your money or get out of that buisness all together!
Clinton, Obama sign onto to Boxer's $4,500 climate tax on American families - EPW Fact of the Day,FACT: A new MIT study concludes that the Sanders-Boxer approach would impose a tax-equivalent of $366 billion annually, or more than $4,500 per family of four, by 2015. And the annual costs will grow after 2015.60 days they vote

The investment vehicle headed by Al Gore has closed a new $683m fund to invest in early-stage environmental companies and has mounted a robust defence of green investing.
The Climate Solutions Fund will be one of the biggest in the growing market for investment funds with an environmental slant.
This is realy stupid. It's a matter of supply and demand! The more you use, the higher the prices. Oil production is almost unchanged sinces 2005. The best thing these guys (and we all) can do is adapt.. you can't win from nature: oil is finite and production will soon decline...
2 reasons: Corporate greed and Dead-beat politics. They intentionally lowered production and use the rising demand as an excuse, and Shit-For-Brains Bush is donig nothing but giving in. Just you wait for the next quarterly profits.
You would like to think that. It is however only an assumption and you can't know that for sure. It's much more likely that production can not be increased very much anymore. 80% of all world oil production is not from oil company's but from country's anyway...
Some news anchor compared oil prices in 2001 and 2007. He noted this: In 2001, a barrel of oil was only $23 and the big oil companies profitted about $40 billion. Then, in 2007, a barrel of oil rose drastically to $120 a barrel as oil companies turned profits of $140 billion.
i know this is off topic but the whole digital tv thing is to obiously free up tv antenna signal that would be for rfid chips those corporate son of a bitches want to implant on everyone. how will they do it??? through the food u and i eat. this is all true what im saying. the iraq war was a false thing...no wmd's were found. nafta was used for the benefit of rockafeller and other powerful fams and a sick plan to elimitate the middle class so only ritch and poor exist. wonder why so many
owner operators are going out of business??? truck drivers are middle class along with cops, teachers, and firefighters. those ritch fukers are happy because they dont worry about this shit. i hope the good old days of $1.22 a gallon of diesel would come back. every high price today would fall
if that doesnt hapen and the whole eliminating-the-middle-class does happen, expect many nations to fall to middle-eastern super-powers in 50-100 years just like the roman empire. like teachers say, "history repeats itself"
Normally I'm Pro-Capatalist which I am for indepdents. But there is a MONOPOLY on Oil Companies plus the Government ruling or taking it over won't make it better. Break the Oil Companies up or sue them for Anti-Trust Laws like we did the Railroad Companies in the late 1800's.
the government is out to destroy are country. its a conspiracy. the truck brokers are not regulated they keep most of the money and trucking companys keep most of the money to.
