Where is Finding Nemo?? I agree with the LK as the best ever so FN should be #2. Yes, it is that good. The Little Mermaid? Not quite. If you're actually going to even put it on the list, don't put it 2nd. Believe me, there are SO MANY high quality films other than simply the LK that are superior to the LM. Also, Toy Story should do a direct swap with Sleeping Beauty and take out 3rd. But as cute as it is, it DOES NOT deserve 2 places. Also, Monters Inc., Kung Fu Panda, A Bug's Life and WALL-E (

@LordofAnnoyence It’s a little hard to describe. The movie revolves around a female mouse who’s trying to help her sick son. In the process, she becomes a critical element in a power struggle with a group of rats. It might not sound that exciting when I say it like that, but trust me its well worth your time. I’ll admit that it’s a kind of dated, but I would recommend it to any fan of animation.

Also, don’t even bother with The Secret of Nimh 2. (It’s just awful)

This is my opinion, but for some reason I just dont like shrek. The story is wierd with a bunch of random stuff like starbucks coffee, burger king, etc. Shrek is a great movie to watch and is funny at parts. Im not saying I hate it im just saying I dont like it alot.

No part of Toy Story could compete with the content of Spirited Away. Okay, that's my opinion but I watched every Toy Story part and yes, it was good. Nice movies for kids, entertaining and family safe. Good but not the best. Spirited Away was closer to be perfect.

Lion King (this film probably ranks very high due to Sonic 2 syndrome; it was the oldest movie I remember seeing in the theaters, I saw it in theaters at least 3 times in my lifetime (including the Imax rerelease a few Christmases ago), and is by extention, my favorite animated movie. Great characters, amazing story, terrific soundtrack, really good animation, and just like with Sonic 2 when it comes to video games, this movie really holds up. Innovative? @brraca Doesn't sound like you watch a lot of animated movies then, some of them can be quite deep. Princess Mononoke has the best delivered environmental message of any film I have ever seen. the Hunchback of Notre Dame is classic literature, with a lot of religious overtones and adult conflicts.

You need to watch The Plague Dogs and Watership Down. Both are here on Youtube. In fact, the version of "The Plague Dogs" on here is the uncut version that I don't believe ever saw a US release.

Also, WALL-E? May be a top 10, may not. Love it either way. Same for Cars. Both are blown away by The Plague Dogs, though. Seriously need to watch that (Make sure you have a box of tissues!).

@Ejak2021 WALL-E has been one of those elusive movies that I always mean to watch but I never do. As for Watership Down, the animation in it is remarkable but I didn't enjoy it enough to put it in my list. Cars I personally wasn't a fan of, but it's your own opinion. I will be sure to check out The Plague Dogs. By the way I am planning on making my list bigger by extending it to top 50 animated movies to make my taste more apparent.

@LordofAnnoyence WALL-E is actually pretty simple story-wise, but it's presented well. As for Cars, I think I just enjoy vehicles and Larry the Cable Guy.

Watership Down feels like it was gutted a bit to make it work as a movie; I plan to read it eventually. However, I've seen the reverse opinion with respect to The Plague Dogs. The book is apparently too preachy about animal testing and goes a bit over-the-top with descriptions of experiments while the film focuses more on the dogs' story.
