  • the music they play in this is fucking stupid.

  • ok well guys lzr make you faster but you need to put effort in it too! me that i own one

  • i've also got one like that but i have both: the pants and the full body suit. anyways the suit does not make u an olypic swimmer as rhiain morgan said, its helps u on the turn, and the dolpihin kicks thats all i noticed. in the pants and the full-body suit it got me a second thats great. but with that new rule ill get the FS-PRO and ill come back to tell u guys. ;D

  • I have a LZR myself and they r amazing. Forget about the fact that they r a "new development of technologie" because really they r just a regular swim suit designed to reduce unnecessary and unwanted parts in regular suits, it was never intentioned as a cheat or a way of making u a fast swimmer cuz no suit will evr do that without the swimmer work put into it. Ppl the suit is not what makes u a fast swimmer. Take advice from someone who knows this firsthand like myself.

  • your retarded

  • I agree with OrlandoSF

and I believe Lzr suits are evil

why make things harder for futurre swimmers?

Why make a suit that will tear after you wear it once or twice that costs a fortune?

Now people who have been training their whole life have to train harder to beat times AND try to afford the stupid suits...

    What was speedo thinking?

appearently none of them swim competitvely

  • apparently none of the swim competitively? How bout the fact that speedo sponsers Cullen Jones, Michael Phelps, Katie Hoff, Natalie Coughlin, and Ricky Berens. The LZR is NOT fixed on failure. this suit is not designed to be a rip off. it is the optimal of all swimming suits. this is as good as it gets. There is a new suit however named the Jaked01 that does tear and IS fixed on failure. thats the Jaked01. not the LZR

  • @DaVerySame no thats not true, Liam Tancock and Caitlyn McClatchey are competitive swimmers as well as the others

  • I am totally for the development of new technologies, but why not just go ahead and allow competitive swimmers to use fins and paddles...and maybe attach a jet pack to their backs, after the athlete ingests performance enhancing drugs? Is that the future of competitive swimming?

  • Imo competitive swimmers should wear nothing but normal briefs.

  • I thought LZR got banned? I dont have that kind of money.. could anyone send me a link of where to get FSII legs cheap?

  • No it has not got banned. I have two. By the way we really don't care if you have money or not., so just stop.

  • If anyone could help me out here,id be really appreciative..I dont want to spend on the full LZR suit, might just buy the JAMMER, but what is recommened to buy?The LZR RACER JAMMER or the TYR TRACER LIGHT full body? out of those 2.which would be technically better in the water? My doubt is because a jammer is too short to do the real effects SPEEDO made for the full body in my opinion, or am I wrong? Can the jammer be beter thn the FULL Tyr Tracer Light? which is said 2 be great as well.

  • well theres the full leg jammer suit witch lacks the upper body part of the suit, but i havnt worn it yet, but if your looking for somthing longer than the jammer it would be a comprimise between the full body and the jammer.

I personally just wear a classic speedo haha

  • go for the new hydrospeed race suit by finis its supposed to be just as fast as the lzr or faster cause the guy that made it was a part of making the lzr suit...

  • i have a TRY tracer light jammer that is the shit. i used the skinlegs also i really like TRY

  • i'm about to buy a lzr for sectionals and I called up the people and the man (over phone) said that jammer wasn't really worth it, for only 50$ more (if you don't get discount through your team) you can get a lzr legskin which is probably your best bet. tracer might be better than a lzr jammer. . however i just saw your comment was 2 months ago

  • i got mine in the mail like 3 days ago so they shipped

  • there was only one swimmer which didnt wear a racer lzr suit in the olympiics that won a medal

    she was some italian woman

  • the girl who won the 50 and 100 wore adidas

  • No, but i'm pre-ordering 1 4 swim season coming up. They rn't shipping till late October.....

  • Does anyone here have a LZR Racer yet? They are now on sale on Speedo's website.

  • Well it blows that they are semi disposable after a few races lol, what's next swimsuits in a spray bottle?

  • thats just like all the race suits...

  • If you know of an FS Pro that can be used every day for 6 months, I want one! Because the one I have now is useless. I have had it for 4 months and have used it probably for about 10-12 races.

The first time I used it I was in the locker room for 15 minutes trying to get it on and last weekend I got it on in about a minute. But they last longer than FS IIs or LZRs.

  • unless it is faulty you havent been washing it out properly

  • I wash it out after every session (prelims and finals). What do you want me to do, wash it every half hour? They will work for a long time, but it's obvious that they don't have the same water-repelling levels after the first 10 races or so. Probably less than 10, but after 10 or 12, its time to start looking for a new suit.

  • I just bought my first Pro last week for districts and states later on this winter.

What's the best way to take care of it? How can I preserve it?

  • I don't necessarily know the BEST way; I suppose it depends on how much work you want to put into preserving it. The most I ever do is thoroughly rinse a suit out after every session (prelims and finals). That is to say, rinse it for at least 30 seconds and wring it out. It should be effective as a "fast" suit for at least 5 or 6 races, and passable for a few meets after that.

  • ur not supposed to wring them out

  • I don't wring them out, in the old fashioned sense; perhaps I misspoke. I squeeze the water out (without actually wringing). Am I allowed to squeeze?

  • it's best to just let is air dry, thats what i do with my diana suit, i've worn it for so many races and it still looks brand new

  • Yes, that's probably for the best... I always tend to worry that they won't dry fast enough like that. Although the newer suits dry off relatively quickly.

  • Mine's usualy completely dry within less than 5 mins from my swim

  • and did anyone else but me notice that they did not ask any of the swimmers about there opinion they just asked fatt asses who have never swam a lap in there life what they think

  • mypinkhawtness your a dumb ass

  • i don't think you should really use this swimsuit unless you're at a REALLY high level, basically if you're a pro. these won't be worth all the money if you're just on a school team or something.

french officials are actually kind of complaining about this new swimsuit. they're worried that later on in swimming, the races are going to be about the swimsuits and not the swimming.

  • those are $550

you can pre-order them on the site

    they're expensive as shit

  • my friend's sister is getting one of these for free, wish i was going to omaha

  • cant wait till lzr racer comes out

  • 3:13!?

  • made in Portugal...LOL

  • holy shit -.- im just not good enough for a LZR xD

  • does anyone no the dirabulity? like how many times could you wear it or is it like anyother suit?

  • the first time i used it it was very tight....after 9 or 10 races it didnt feel as tight...but i improved all my times by 1 second

  • dude u bluffer! they havent been out that long

  • apparently phelps and some of the other greats can only wear them for about 3 or 4 races until they need to replace them

  • yeah thats the beauty of the pro--it lasts for about 6 months. speedo used the michigan swim team and gave them all fs pros to wear, and they wore them everyday at every practice for 6 months and the reduction of drag was still there.

now for the lzr im not sure, ive heard it only lasts 6-10 races. about $100 a swim lol.

  • hahaha you are so full of shit. Have you ever even been to a swim practice?

  • shows how ignorant you are.

ive been a swimmer for 13 years, my sister works for speedo and is constantly around the speedo engineers and technicians. she personally delivered the fs pro's to the michigan swim team because she is a sports marketing rep, meaning she's also the one who takes care of all the athletes and makes sure their suits are perfect before they jump in the water. i also receive many of these suits for free from her because i can.

  • I was speaking about your rumor that Michigan's team wore FS Pros for every practice for 6 months.

I competed at Olympic Trials, so don't try to call me ignorant on the subject; I have raced in the FS Pro and the LZR. I wasn't disagreeing with the fact that FS Pro lasts FAR longer than a LZR, this much is very true. But I also know for a fact that Michigan did not have their swimmers wear LZRs for an entire 6 months as some kind of experiment. Enjoy your free suits :)

  • give me proof that they didnt give michigan the suits, because i have the proof that they did-people personally telling me all about it.

you competed at trials, good job. how long have you had the lzr for? how many races did you use it in? it does not last long. it lasts about 6-10 races. this is proven by speedo's engineers testing it constantly. and this is also more of the reason why everyone who isnt sponsored by speedo is buying blue 70s instead. if you want to spend a $100 a race go ahead

  • I didn't particularly like the lzr. It doesn't fit as well as the Pro, in my opinion. It feels great underwater but constricting during the swim. That's just me though, most people tend to like it.

A club teammate of mine knows a couple guys at Michigan and hasn't heard anything about the FS Pro donations. I start noticing the pro deteriorating after about 5 races; it stretches out, and gets water-logged easily. And I thoroughly rinse out my suits after ever race.
