@xeldonrager I haven't used a Cyber Snipa before, but I can tell you the Razer Deathadder is a great gaming mouse. It's on the cheaper side too and I've had mines for roughly 5 years or so. It's been the same since day one. It's a little big, but the material on top is excellent grip and the way the mouse buttons have a groove to them makes resting your fingers easy and comforting. The side buttons are pretty useful for simple things like back and forward while browsing. You can configure it too

@aplayaz2000 You cant be serious on saying the mx518 is crap. Its one of the best optical mice along with IE1.3/1.1 and WMO 1.1. They might have low Hz response time(can always be fixed with 500hz usb patch) and low dpi but they are very accurate. Alot of Quake live/Wolfenstein ET players still use the mx518.

I've got a Deathadder v2. and i think tath mouse isnt very well. contact problem , tracking problems ect.I bought a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 -> it knows 125 hz but can 1000 hz with usb hack and in 125 hz, IME 3.0 much better.... try it and save money

@KukacMatyi6 Yeah the old 1800dpi infrared sensor is superior to the new 3500dpi one. Wmo 1.1, IME 1.1, IME 3.0 with Usb polling rate hack to 500hz or even 1000hz = Domination. I use the ime 3.0 for wolfenstein enemy territory but i also use the deathadder v2 for less challenging games lol.

Yes! The mouse feels very comfortable as it's big and you can lay your whole palm on it comfortably. However, it is very light; barely no weight to it. It's a personal thing, but I don't really mind.

The mouse works fine. You probably got a defective or you have compatibility issues.

If anything, the DeathAdder is "faster" since the MX518 has a 1600 DPI where as the DeathAdder has 1800 DPI.

Not really. The only thing similar is the design. The DeathAdder is Infrared and the Mamba is Laser. The Mamba is a hybrid mouse, the DeathAdder is a basic wired mouse.

No, there is literally no difference in external design. And the internals are a fallacy, the only thing special in there is the wireless receiver. Infrared IS a laser, the only difference being the mambas is visible, and the deathadders is not, both are capable of the same dpi output, they just chose laser over infrared, probably because its a little easier to generate higher dpi. Or more expensive to justify 80 dollars more for 10 dollars extra worth of product. Case closed.

I just got a Razer Salmosa cause it was half price and done exactly the same as you trying to unbox it, I thought "how the hell do you get it out?!" Can't beat going from a normal mouse to a 1800DPI mouse :)
