I think the dude that Manning roughs-up to confess that his brother is dead is Micheal Goth. He did a bunch of those old Amicus horror movies in the '60s & '70s. More recently, me played Alfred in the Batman movies. ((Before Morgan Freeman took over!)

When I saw this movie late at night in West Yourkshire in 1990, it was called Curse of the Crimson Alter. I think it was released in the US under a different title.
