@marbleheadband Hey thanks, man... I appreciate the kind words. Julian was like 17 when he played that sweet violin bass and did the vocals. Jun is perpetually fantastic. I hadn't realized Lennon wrote and played that piano part until researching it for the cover.

Fantastic but piano is too loud in the mix and the vocals too quiet turn bass up a touch as well

bass parts aren't hard to nail (as are any parts in beatles songs)...the vocals are...how presumptuous of y'all...and i do have a version to share with the world, not quite up to beatles standards but a helluva better than this!

@mlb0226 Oh, Hi... sorry, I missed your question. We used beat mapping in Logic to create a metronome track that matched the original song so that there could be a count in and then we recorded our tracks against the original song and metronome track. You then email your track to the producer (jun626 in this case) . I've done a few of these and in some cases the musicians will re-record their parts against the other tracks. vanderbilly in particular, does that.
