The 87% of people who do, they spend 2 trillion per year, of which, about 700 billion (about 30%) goes to insurance industry for profits and overhead. The healthcare plan proposes to bring this 30% overhead down to a 3% overhead, and to have 97% of people have insurance, not 87%. Fuck you republicans.

Well first of all you don't go to jail, its specifically states so in the bill. Second, if you don't pay your fine then it's adjusted as a lien on your property, which is also stated in the bill. Third, if you don't like the mandate, states can come up with their own plans so long as they meet the coverage requirements of the bill, which, you guessed it, is also written in the bill. Try reading the bill.

How can we accept that the health care reform was passed with bribes? An undecided 8 votes helped pass the bill with "We will vote yes for the reform bill if you ensure none of the money will be used for abortion services or coverage"... I wish someone in Congress with half a brain would file an injunction because after all that is A. Accepting a Bribe and B.) Breaching Separation of Church and State. You can't make government decisions based on religious beliefs! Vote Obama out of office!!

True if you don't, you will not get the "tax break" everyone else will get and you will be charged a fine. Bill is trying to get him to say "the IRS will come after you if you don't have insurance" and that is NOT correct. ...but they will come after you if you don't pay your taxes....which is what this is really all about.

He then makes the analogy that they won't give people a tax break on homes when they didn't buy one in the first place. There is no such law that says the IRS will enforce fines for those who do not buy health insurance. NONE - they do not criminalize people who do not buy health insurance.
