I really liked your video and your channel. If you need any help getting this video or channel exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. God Bless!
I just saw this documentary and met Daniel as well. The film obviously takes real life families and ties their story together. Whether you believe it is pro-propaganda or not is your choice, however these are traditional families who dealt with it so the truth is there... Go Karslake!!!
I'm watching this file right now, and although it has some good points, it is ultimately nothing more than a pro-gay propaganda piece that distorts the issues and stacks the deck FOR homosexuality.
CRoadwarrior, I think anything that doesn't suit your personal idealogies or personal biblical interpretation is "propaganda" It's called selective Christianity, and that's wrong.
I just saw it the other night and I even got to meet and talk with Daniel Karslake. The story about why he did this video was so touching. It was an amazingly powerful video and Daniel is a very nice guy. I was expecting to go and be bored by a documentary but this may have changed my life more than I ever thought it would. I can't wait for it to be out on DVD so I can get other people to watch it. ((Yes it really is coming out on DVD...Daniel told me so!))
See this film. I have been struggling with my beliefs and my sexuality for a LONG time. This documentary may have just changed my life. Very well done. How do we get this distributed widely? Very powerful.
The film was very well done and exactly the type of film that's been a long time coming for the GLBT community. The condemnation of homosexuality is one of the last great lies promulgated by Christendom. The life of this teaching is fast approaching its end. More films like this one simply must follow and be shown on mainstream TV channels such as TLC, Disc, NG, or the History Channel, in order see this hateful doctrine come to its long overdue burial.
If you are gay and grew up in a Christian home, you will find this film very validating and cathartic. You should make arrangements to see this movie with your parents, brothers and sisters, as it sheds much needed light on the destructive false teaching that God and the Bible condemns homosexuality, and just may serve the wonderful purpose of establishing a reconnection between you and your loved ones. SEE THIS FILM!
Finally Mr.Karslake gets to the issue of selective Bible condemnation through the biased use of elements of text yanked to support human marginalization.
This film was excellent. I had the opportunity to attend a Sundance screening. I can't wait for wide release and continued discussion and exposure to this important issue.
Go, Daniel! All of us up here in the Catskills are cheering on the success of your film and look foward to seeing it. Thanks for all your and your teams' long, hard work to bring it to fruition!

I haven't seen this movie, so I can't judge, but it does seem to me that something like this is sorely needed.
