wmp.dll is an installation problem with windows media player. error 692 is a hardware problem with a wireless router. syntax error is an problem or inconsistency in the way that you entered a command to the computer. and fatal error can easily be fixed with a quick restart, after which it likely won't occur again.

ok i work on macs everyday at college and i work on a pc at home, i love both the operating systems and im planning on buying a mac but there is one thing that has never happend to my pc that happend to me on a mac, i was typing up work on the mac, 3 pages of it, i click save and it crashes i could not recover my work, never had that on my pc. also the macs i work on have snow leapord and intel core i3 and 4gb ram

An AV is not without errors, it hogs up computer memory, and still doesn't catch 100% of all virus, rootkit and malware. The best AV is between your ears. ...that is why so many Windowa-users gets virus, they log in as admin giving full rights to all programs and click yes to everything and install happily from unknown sources. They don't want to be bothered thinking about security at all.

I work on both Macs and Windows PCs. A lot. And in my experience Windows is much more reliable (I jumped from XP to Win7 so I can't fully comment on the Vista horror). Macs lock up like nothing I've ever encountered. I don't know if it's Adobe products alone (which are the ones I use) but I doubt it.
Secondly, there are tons of manufacturers who use Windows and only one who uses OSX. This means that more Windows computers will be sold.
Thirdly, just because more PCs are sold doesn't mean they're better... and they're not. PCs can simply be configured to be very cheep and are therefore better in some cases.

Whether you are a mac person or a Microsoft person it does not matter you are still using a PC. PC just means personal computer the difference is the OS. And even with that it is a preference thing. A mac is a simpler machine designed so that one button can be used to do the majority of work. The Microsoft counterpart has been built upon numerous times and has a more complex scheme allowing higher levels of customization depending on what exactly your doing. No OS is better than the other.
You the sad part of these commercials is that they tell the truth. I can't tell you how many weird waring messages i have gotten in windows like riaxxx833.....something.

Windows doesn't have "Fatal Errors" to my knowledge. Although Ubuntu did one time.
BAM! Black-screen-of-death- can't even shut the PC down. I had to re-install.
Haven't had any problems since.

pc has its downsides but so does mac pc is lots of viruses and mac has certain things that can't be used because there for windows if only mac and windows teamed up they could make a great computer

you can install windows on your Mac easily with programs such as Paralles to run mac and windows side by side... Mac can do anything....

i know that but that takes up a lot of space oh and heres the thing now i'm on windows my mac machine had a screen issue and problems with running i life programs and some other ones and it was cheaper just to buy a new computer so i said screw mac i'm going to windows they try to seem better but there no better than windows

@odeeidee Speaking of viruses, mac actually has been getting more viruses then windows since more people are getting macs. Meanwhile microsoft has become sort of immune to virus's since theyve been around. Besides its VERY easy to avoid trojans and viruses on both computers.

I work on both Macs and Windows PCs. A lot. And in my experience Windows is much more reliable (I jumped from XP to Win7 so I can't fully comment on the Vista horror). Macs lock up like nothing I've ever encountered. I don't know if it's Adobe products alone (which are the ones I use) but I doubt it.

Firstly, they're not stupid videos.
Secondly, there are tons of manufacturers who use Windows and only one who uses OSX. This means that more Windows computers will be sold.
Thirdly, just because more PCs are sold doesn't mean they're better... and they're not. PCs can simply be configured to be very cheep and are therefore better in some cases.

@xXx00701 That is simply because MAC OS is restricted to Apple hardware. Microsoft sells to whoever wants to make a PC. That's how. Also because makes are pricier than PCs usually. Honestly, people need to STFU and just choose theirs. Simple. Macs are worth the money to some people. PCs are worth it to others. You've got to admit that Mac ownes stability but when it comes to a broad range of compatible products, Windows wins.

@xXx00701 PC is still the #1 selling computer because before Apple returned to profitability, Microsoft already got all its customers so Apple had less time to steal some back. You'll be surprised how many people are switching to Mac. It's not happening instantly because Windows 7 was a big improvement.
However, I am a Mac user and happy with my MBP '10.

The only reason I would buy a MAC, would be if I was rich, or just bored. And only use it for Video editing and such, because, I gotta hand it to them, Macs COME with better video editing software, but you can get some for pc just as easily.

Yep, and pc's won't randomly die on you unless you abuse the thing alot. Macs, however, die randomly all the time. Mine did 3 times already, once even going to some DOS-like state and spamming "I HAVE NO NAME" and "I HAVE NO JOB" in white letters all over a black screen. I'm not kidding here.

Whether you are a mac person or a Microsoft person it does not matter you are still using a PC. PC just means personal computer the difference is the OS. And even with that it is a preference thing. A mac is a simpler machine designed so that one button can be used to do the majority of work. The Microsoft counterpart has been built upon numerous times and has a more complex scheme allowing higher levels of customization depending on what exactly your doing. No OS is better than the other.
