@rtbeghin1 Rand Paul has no issues with a thorough search. He requested a second scan and they denied it. The scanner malfunctioned giving a false positive. It's been reported that these scanners do have issues with giving a false positive. In most cases a second scan is allowed and the anomaly is cleared without the need of a pat down.
