This is the kind of music I was expecting when Zelda Wii was first announced. My opinion is that they completely ruined SS; the music is bad, level-like areas, only 1 town, no memorable characters at all (only Fi and Groose). I hope Zelda Wii U will finally bring an epic zeldagame with this kind of music. Thumbs up if u agree!

This is really awesome, I think it doesn't really fit legend of zelda that much though. This feels like it belongs in a much more overbearing game. Something like a fusion between monster hunter and some other rpg. With a more hope filled atmosphere.

I think more of exploring some huge plain or climbing a mountain or something...this song kind of reminds me of Kingdom Hearts 2's Land of the Dragons. But I can really picture this as forest exploration. Again, kind of like Deep Jungle from Kingdom Hearts 1.

I think I like how Nintendo does the forest music for each Zelda. it has a sense of mystery. I think that (even if it's creative), if the music were like this, it'd take away from that feeling. This feels more action and adventurous.

It kinda reminds me of Golden Sun for some reason :o

Forest Dungeon music is passive because it's a dungeon in the forest. This is far too overbearing and I would not enjoy hearing this when I'm in the same place for a few hours at a time.

That oboe at the start and around 1:20 is terrible and ear-piercing.

@AlexPlaysGames finally a constructive comment. but i'm willing to bet the area you're thinking of is not what this area actually is. you'll have to take my word on it and trust me that it works. when all the sound effects of everything else kick in you'll hardly notice it.

@ratersaver It's not a bad track by any means and it could certainly be used in a "busier" area. The thing about dungeons is that they have to establish a passive atmosphere while the player explores and overcomes puzzles at their own pace. This music feels like something more active is happening, you know? Like a more dangerous objective.If you listen to various Zelda dungeon tracks you'll hear that they never "force" themselves upon you. They work WITH their environment, never against.

@AlexPlaysGames goes right with the theme of this game. "old vs. the new" what's traditionally done to what's being done now. if you have a 360 i suggest trying this track out in any role playing game you may own. don't let the tract overpower the level and you'll find it fits

i love this music, its beautiful! the only thing is, for a temple setting, the music usually makes for a creepier atmosphere, subtle or not. when i hear this i definitely think of a field or a castle or something, not a cavernous wood. idk, thats just my opinion. maybe you hear it differently. but either way, this is still really awesome! :D

This is pretty sick, I think it's fitting although maybe too dominant. If it alternated between transparent and dominant it would be a much more effective song. Ambient effects would be nice as well.

I like what you did with the oboe, normally a harp or percussive instrument would travel up and down scales like that, but the oboe makes it sound less ambient and more all-encompassing, like the oboe's travels could become a reoccurring nature theme in the game.
