I watched the documentary. It was nice and all, but somewhat fluffy. There was nothing new in it: if you know who Tom Ford is and what he is about, then you will find very little that is new here. It plays somehow rehearsed and underwhelming. That said, it was neat to see what his design studios looks like.
It's not Ford's particular shortcoming though: evidently the producers of the piece were not interested in anything beyond what's skin-deep. Somewhat lacking soul and a real punch.
