Thanks so much for adding this! It's the first time I've been able to listen to this song in decades without cringing.  Big Maybelle's version wipes the floor with the Beatles' version -- it has a poignancy that totally eludes the original.

I couldn't agree more , thus proving the Orig Version is not always the best version.........There is something so Genuinely soulful about B.M's version - almost like the song is REAL to her..........!!!

She was a true "soul sister" - (love her Non Northern songs as well) - strangely she looks so tiny , for such a big voice....I am unsure of accuracy - but I think she played a cameo role in ORIGINAL (John Waters) - HAIRSPRAY , Running a Record SHop..........!!!
