Have to say 2 years down the line and this phone still works, has never crashed and doesn't really look dated (although i'm about to update to blackberry :D) The battery life has gone from about 1 week to 2/3 days though plus texting is virtually impossible and I hardly ever reply to messages now. (The top is heavier than the bottom and so when you are texting it doesn't balance very well) Poor camera but that doesn't bother me much. 6/10 - does the job

i have this phone but its has the overheating problem.

it has these defects, if i turn off the mobile it will start heating up by using the battery energy and because of this it will drain the battery in seconds, sometimes it turns off automatically, if you overcharging it starts heating up. i have tried different batteries so its not from the batteries.

i wont to know if it can be repaired and if i could repair it myself, example formating its OS, or upgrade or something like that.

So, today I put into this phone a 2GB memory card with around 35 hours of MP3's, out of my old phone (O2 Ice), so, first I needed a card reader. I put a couple new songs I wanted to listen to.

Then I put my card in the phone (because the software does not work). It sais "Failed to open database". So, I throw the ****ing thing at the floor. I try the card in my computer again but it sais its now unformatted, and do I want to format it, i.e all my music is now lost. I am so F***ing pissed off.

This is the worst horrible waste of money phone I have ever had. Texting is almost impossible due to the useless text software and interface. I wanted to upload MP3's onto it using Vista, which does not come with the phone, (XP only) so I downloaded it from their website. It will not recognise the phone, it will not recognise a memory card in the phone, it sais something is running, so it won't work, you can't open files on it or upload files to the phones internal memory or the memory slot.

People say that the battery life is not good on this model but I have found a way to keep your battery life longer. I have charged this phone up for a whole day and I am on my 3rd day having it and it's still going strong. On 2 occasions I have had a warning saying that my battery is low but then I turn it off and turn it back on and the battery goes back up. Another thing I like is the fact that whatever time it is you can see the day and night on your phone.

You can attach images to numbers in your phone book if thats' what you mean but i don't know if they work for text messages.

You can have someones photo show up when they call, it's called graphic id. So it does what you want for phonecalls but i don't know about texts. I assume it will but i'll have to set it up to check; it's not in the manual. Anyway nice little phone, you won't be disappointed, unless the text pic id is critical lol!

It depends how important the camera is to ya. If you want to take pro shots probably not the best choice! Most of the bad reviews i've read were due to faults with the phone. Mine works flawlessly. It only has 4 message alert tones which is odd when you can use mp3s as ringtones. No audio enhancements for the mp3 player, i though there would be an eq at least. The headphones are crap, i plugged my own and the quality was much better. Haven't tried everything out yet but so far no probs.

I just got one of these on contract with virgin media. it was the best one on the tariff i chose which is so cheap anyway it didn't really matter if the phone wasn't 'the best'. I have 28 days to return it if i'm not happy anyway so i can't lose. Anyway so far i like it, nice design easy to use, good features. Camera's not bad but it's not great in low light. I'm basing that on how pictures look on the phones display. You can do some cool things with the fx though.

Like Sony Erricsons, you can type in search for the song you want instead of scrolling all the way down untill you get the song you want.. It's really annoying when phones don't have search in thier mp3 player. So can anybody tell me if this is.

this phone was ok, considering it's price. I was kinda disappointed by the camera though. It's terrible indoors and there are plenty of artifacts along sharp edges. The kinda effect you get when you overshapen an image in photoshop. I'd rather have a smaller well-exposed image than a large image with artifacts.

cant be disabled, but if you want to take a fast photo dont take it in 5 mega pixel. You can change the pixel quality, so to take a fast photo change it to about 3.2 mega pixel
