These manuscripts (we still have today) show us how accurate our translations still are. To say it wasn't corrupted in the past is right, saying it is corrupted now is a mistake. Early Muslims did not believe it to be corrupted, they thought it was also the word of God. If God had already sent his word, why does he need to send another revelation? The Bible is complete, not lacking.

A plant would not die in 24 hours. We can't even compare the beginning of the universe to how it is now because nobody humanly knows how it looked at the beginning. The Bible may have been written by a men, but I think they would have specified long periods of time if god revealed it. My Bible does not. That gap theory was only added in some Bibles to follow evolutionist perspectives that 1 day may have been a period. The earliest Bibles did not say that.

This is an error found only in the King James, it is a translation error... when you consult the original Hebrew and Greek texts the number is clearly 18.... KJV was translated in 1611 and was done very hurridly by the Catholic Church, better translations like the English Standard are correct when they say:

They arent different in context, its different translation, English is the problem, not the Hebrew. The Hebrew and Greek is the right one, but not everyone can read Hebrew and Greek, so they translate it. Have you ever translated an ancient text? Its not so easy.

The earth would still exist without the sun if God so willed it. #2 Genesis is a "how" account, it is a "why" account, notice that every day He "saw that it was good" .... good for who? Its good for what He will create on day 6, Adam.
#3 The Hebrew doesnt say he "created" the sun on day 4, He "let it be shown"

These manuscripts (we still have today) show us how accurate our translations still are. To say it wasn't corrupted in the past is right, saying it is corrupted now is a mistake. Early Muslims did not believe it to be corrupted, they thought it was also the word of God. If God had already sent his word, why does he need to send another revelation? The Bible is complete, not lacking.

A plant would not die in 24 hours. We can't even compare the beginning of the universe to how it is now because nobody humanly knows how it looked at the beginning. The Bible may have been written by a men, but I think they would have specified long periods of time if god revealed it. My Bible does not. That gap theory was only added in some Bibles to follow evolutionist perspectives that 1 day may have been a period. The earliest Bibles did not say that.

I would love to know that question as well. I wish they would have, my feeling is that Dr. Zakir was throwing balls faster than they could catch them, jumping from subject to subject or that they didn't want to make the debate into an argument. if it was me, I would have called him on it. I would LOVE to debate Dr. Zakir, but I would request that we stick to one topic at a time instead of jumping around everywhere. If it took longer so be it, but the result would be far more truthful than this

Honestly, Im not trying to be hostile, I respect the Muslim faith, I don't agree with it, but I respect it. I do have a duty to defend my faith, just as you do.
Also, I dont want to be better than William Cambell, I dont want to be better than Dr. Zakir and I dont want to be better than you. All I want is for people to stop taking the Bible out of context for their own gains.
I will address all of his questions, but it will take some time, he asked so many.

1.) Nehemiah vs Ezra - 2 separate events, already answered that - But you cant just add up the list and come up with the number because notice the first line of Nehemiah chptr 7 "And I FOUND A REGISTER of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, AND FOUND WRITTEN THERIN..."
He isnt recording the number he is telling what was written in the register, the register was wrong, not the Bible.

This is an error found only in the King James, it is a translation error... when you consult the original Hebrew and Greek texts the number is clearly 18.... KJV was translated in 1611 and was done very hurridly by the Catholic Church, better translations like the English Standard are correct when they say:
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem. 2 Chron 36:9 (ESV)

They arent different in context, its different translation, English is the problem, not the Hebrew. The Hebrew and Greek is the right one, but not everyone can read Hebrew and Greek, so they translate it. Have you ever translated an ancient text? Its not so easy.
And no, we shouldnt toss the rest, thats what Islam did.

The earth would still exist without the sun if God so willed it. #2 Genesis is a "how" account, it is a "why" account, notice that every day He "saw that it was good" .... good for who? Its good for what He will create on day 6, Adam.
#3 The Hebrew doesnt say he "created" the sun on day 4, He "let it be shown"

Trinity means Tri Unity (be careful about calling God stupid please) its 1 God who revealed himself in three distinct persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (not a ghost)
as triangle is three distinct lines that make 1 complete shape, its not difficult to understand what the Trinity is if you stop thinking of it as three separate Gods, because its only 1 that is above our ability to understand his nature.

1st - I never said there was more than 1 true God, I said you believe in a different God than Christians do.
2nd - So not everyone that is submitted to the will of God is a Muslim then and your previous statement is false.
3rd - How is it false? Deedat and Zakir dont understand the Trinity so how could they prove it false?
no the Father , Son (Jesus) and Holy SPIRIT are all part of the one TRUE God. That is different than saying God, Jesus and Holy Spirit... try again
