Btw...I rather hear this Gokey guy than Adam's "DIVA MODE" singing. I think that American Idol needs a winner that can project either a strong female or male presence....not a man that cannot project masculinity when it's needed.Adam insists on singing in a high register as if he is Christina Aguilera "possessed"....another artist that puts way too much into a song. Wow, that was amazing. Goeky was never my favorite but he did a much much better job here with this song then on AI. He actually let his emotions into it and it almost brought me to tears knowing that every word of this song has such a personal meaning to him. The tragedy in his life gave him this ability to convey such raw emotions when he sings it, not that I mean that that makes up for loosing his wife by any means...just a really good performance.
