I have this amp the master vol knob is fucked, turn it up or down, & it's all scratchy, there is no vol control the vol "swells" & fades even with the vol all the down there is still sound sometimes even loud sound ....help please, & please no smartass comments
@bobmac1973 i might have that same problem does the vol sometimes when u turn it up a little it goes real loud. and sometimes u turn it up n its quite ?
@bobmac1973 Your volume pot is shorting out. if you have any mechanical ability you should be able to take the amp apart (unplugged of course) and use some sort of contact cleaner on the one that is making noise and not controlling the volume. Radio Shack sells a product for about $12 that will do the trick and lubricate the pot as well. It's called control/contact CLEANER AND LUBRICANT.
I love it, he say's he's had it for a little over a year and that it's lasted him.... That's not saying much if kid's today think that 14 months is a long time. Old tube amps from the 50's are still around kid's.
Hye i have one question do you have to use the band preset tone, because i wanna put in my tone only not some band's tone so is there a way to disable that or does the screen work all the time but doesn't put the bands tone in until you ajust it
