People forget that pacquiao is now sparring with khan at junior middleweight. Its only normal for Pacquiao to lose some speed because of the added weight. His best weight was around 130-135 and max 140. He was lighting fast when he was 126 to 135. Lets not also forget of course Pacquiao is now getting old. He's now 33 yrs old with so many rings wars. Khan doesn't have to do as much movement to get his shots in because of his long arms and fast hands. The dynamics of their offense seem very different.

I have to believe what Freddie said on Manny's official website, mpboxing. He said Amir is a tiny fraction faster than Manny. But he also said that Manny has a denser, more powerful punch.
To me, Amir throws faster in succession but his angles don't show as much variety.
They're all friends. And both Manny and Freddie are grooming Amir to take Manny's place when Manny leaves the sport in about 18 months. Just check out Manny's website, mpboxing.

People forget that pacquiao is now sparring with khan at junior middleweight. Its only normal for Pacquiao to lose some speed because of the added weight. His best weight was around 130-135 and max 140. He was lighting fast when he was 126 to 135. Lets not also forget of course Pacquiao is now getting old. He's now 33 yrs old with so many rings wars. People were calling morales and barrera past their prime when they were only 28 or 29 yrs old. LOL. excuses after Pac demolished them.

Khan's hand speed looks faster. Pac's punches are just shorter because he gets into offensive range very quickly using footwork, body movement and timing. Khan doesn't have to do as much movement to get his shots in because of his long arms and fast hands. The dynamics of their offense seem very different.

Freddie (trainer of both fighters) said khan is the fastest lightweight his ever seen, as well as having faster hands than pacman. Even if thats the case, I don't think pacman fans (fillipinos) should really be concerned about that considering pacmans power. When u have that much amount of punching power with significant speed.- boy ur in trouble. By the way, check amir khan's recent sparring video on youtube.

Why would he lie? What does he get for lying? He sparred with Pacquiao and Khan, if he says that Khan has faster hands, then I believe Rashad. He also said that Pacquiao has the faster feet, legs.
All these Pacquiao huggers will be gone soon. Pacquiao has only a couple of fights left in him before he call it quits.
