  • Patti, I am so thankfull for your music! This piece reminds me of my father, he was a scientist and artist who made many highly creative contributions to the world. He was quite a character. Your music stops me cold in my thinking tracks, and then all the feelings that were hidding behind "busy" come out.

  • Thank you patrick,

Thank you for stopping by. I left a reply back when but, it seems to be gone??? wonder what happened.

Anyway, you know how I feel about this wonderful creation that Bill and you build....fills my very soul,,,touches my very heart. I want nothing else but to sit and play it alllllllllllll day....

    Takecare!

Have another video coming up tomorrow, hopefully...

  • Thank you hugociss!

There are actually 120 tines on the mbira. I'm blessed with some good memory I guess? lol

But I do have to run thru all my pieces often to keep them in my memory bank. I love doing it though. I'm also a tap dancers and it's like remember tap combinations too.

    Takecare,

    Patti

  • What a beautiful piece of music for one of my top two or three most favorite instruments! You are truly creating a body of musical arrangements for the mbira array that will surely seal its legitimacy as a serious musical instrument for all time. If Buddy Green play his harmonica at Carnegie Hall, why not the mbira array!

  • aww thank you Jack :0)

Thanks for stopping by the have a listen too. I appreciate it greatly.

    Patti
