Leave the youth alone, they're not 'prats' then or now, apart from a few bad apples youthful exuberance is merely part of the growing process. The media being the self serving drama queen it is exaggerates events rather than looking at the more mundane facts which paradoxically always turn out to be more interesting than the over the top reportage particularly when looking at the real history of any event.

Mods always out numbered Rockers by about 10 to 1. That's why they would always set upon on the Rockers, because they were cowards and it was safety in numbers.. If the rival gangs were of equals numbers, the Mods would of had their arses kick all over the seaside resort and back to London. Rockers did hard manual work, whereas most of the Mods worked in offices and maybe shops and we know what bunch of soft fairies they can be LOL
