Great job man ........ Sikhism is one of the greatest religions ever and we must be respected for that . We were the ones who saved India from the Mughals ...But even in india I dont feel like living in ma own country. The respect for the Sikhs is still missing in india. Today a sikh in India is no more than a joke. So It doesnt feels like home. I think that the Hindus have forgotten the history of sikh sacrifices for them and and India.
So if they dont respect us, I wont respect them ever
I just saw the ad in New York at the Rockefellar Centre and had to do a double take to confirm that I just saw a turban model (and take a photo :) GREAT JOB!!
Fabulous, I myself have been mistaken for muslim many times, I always make sure I teach the difference....muslims aren't bad, but extremists get carried away...good job
Big ups to Sandeep Singh Caberwal! It should be up to us Punjabi Sikhs to promote Sikh people who make it big. That includes Sandeep Singh, Waris Singh Ahluwalia and etc.
So happy to see this....US again beats India hands down. In India, where 2% of the population is Sikhs, it is hard to imagine a Sikh model. Shamefully, even Punjabi films do not have a Sikh hero. Great Job Kenneth Cole. Great Job Sandeep.
This is great that Kenneth Cole has recognized Sikhism and wished to display it at this level. They definitely picked a great Sikh in doing so. This guy has great Communication skills.
Its one of those great calamities of life in which man goes on missing its greatest flights of consciousness and gets consumed by trivia. I feel sorry for the world. As far as Sikhi goes, what's real stays put, what's fake is removed.
Its a shame that Sikhs are confused with the Taliban or any muslims in general The Sikh religion from what I have researched so far appears to be Universal and their ideas on Life and Death and Spirituality are far superior to any religion. No I am not a Sikh but I have observed this from the lectures and words and teachings of Yogi Bhajan. The Truth is in what you say and How you say it.
Wow! Awesome! Sat Sri Akal! We need more people like this Singh!!!:) Hes not only handsome but so articulate and an eloquent speaker.
Thank You Kenneth Cole for their empathy, understanding,a great heart for giving a Sikh American a chance to broadcast his identity in a time when its so important for people to know about Sikhs.
Waheguru Ji works wonders, from Waris,Gurmustuk,Monty Panesar to Sandeep and many more Singhs and Singhnis to come forward. Jo Bole' Sone'hal Sat Sri Akaaaaal!!!:)
Kenneth Cole unveiled one of their new ads on a wall of Rockefeller Center in New York City. The model is the above Sikh. This is one of the videos by KC which is posted along with some of the others at kennethcole com/thinkers/

"We all Walk in Different Shoes"
A few days ago, Kenneth Cole unveiled one of his new ads on a wall of Rockefeller Center in New York City. The model is, surprisingly, a sardar.
The campaign features Sandeep (aka: Sonny) Caberwal as a Sikh and in the below video he explains about being a Sikh and standing out.
