@xCeLFeaRzZ retaners? My exhaust set up consists of BBK shorty unequal length headers, offroad h-pipe (no cats), slp resonators, and pipes to bring it out the side. The exhaust is all straight except the resonators have a slightly larger diameter but they're still a straight through design.
@ROBBY639 The Trickflow cam was around $170 from Summit Racing. I did all the engine work in college including the machine work so it was free. I had a lot of help though. lol
oh and what do you run in the 1/4 or what numbers do you put down. with simular mods and my car not running up to par, i was wondering what i should expect if the maf conversion fixes my problem. thank you
So you're running the cam with speed density? I won't have it to the track for a while but I may get to dyno it (mustang dyno unfortunately) in a few weeks. I'll post up the numbers here if it happens.
how did your car run before the maf conversion.. i have simular mods same cam, bigger heads, and when i get on it at 3000 rpm she shits herself. won't ecelerate like it should. idle jumps around sometimes she will idle ok. i have an 85 with and 87 engine, 3.55 gears the full efi swap and a bunch more.
Honestly, I'm not one to notice differences very well. I can't tell if just changing from SD to MAF made a difference because I did all the changes at once.

as far as exterior looks go, 86 GT is the best of the fox body era...they got that one just right. Looks and sounds good.

Only half the1985's were carb. Ford had to the option for fuel injection that year, it was only in 1986 when fuel injection became the only option.
