It's funny that with all the times we visited the moon and sent probes to bring back samples, we are just now discovering this. We had the advanced technological capabilities to travel to the moon in 1969, yet we announce the discovery of water in 2009, 40 years later. I smell some bullshit.

Actually, I think that the spectroscopy , datalinks , image analysis was not so advanced then.......
There has been a tremendous improvement in the instrumentation........
