Very simple, when Saddam Hussein told the West, the Dollar is worthless and will trade Iraq's oil in Euros instead of dollars. America's oil companies did not want to loose their free profits and pushed for invasions.. The WMD story was just a front to invade..

Same thing with the killing of Mossadeq of Iran in the 50's he nationalized Iranian oil, then the West could not get a free lunch anymore..

This guy needs to read "Bankruptcy 1995." The trouble with just looking a liabilities is that it is net worth that matters. What is the net worth of America? If we owe 43 trillion (or whatever number this guy wants to believe) doesn't the net worth of what our properties and businesses are worth affect the bottom line? Why no mention of that number (Which is like 70 or 80 trillion at least.) If you only look at half of the picture you might not see the whole truth.
