@johnnyknoxvillesvk I think you just fail to get them to submit to you. It took me a month to get my dog (7 month now, picked up her when she way 6) to submit to me. Now she is perfect... :) More training and exercise... and cut on affection before you do the rest. :)

@nygosona Most WELL bred Shar Pei don't have skin or eye problems. But A majority of Shar Pei being bred are from back yard breeders as is with almost all breeds. You cant clump the whole breed into having issues.

@DonVares from what I know, all shar peis as puppies are super wrinkly. As they grow older, the wrinkles on the body usually go away and show a nice fit body and a wrinkly head.

My pei is also a pure breed and he had his eyes tacked as a puppy. One appears a little swollen but multiple vets said he was just fine. He's truly a funny dog!!! I'd never own another breed!

Oh god I remember when my baby shar pei was this young. Her name is Mona, she was sooo frkin cute! shes almost a year now and they are such a joy to have. truly the funniest and cutest dogs. just watch out for skin irritations. make sure you bathe her allot! If she comes up with little bald spots go to your vet immediately, they have medicated shampoos for it. When we were going to fix Mona we couldn't do it due to the skin irritation.
