  • Top stuff...

  • Absolute class in a glass......long live KMO

  • I am not big on folk music... but I had this cd recommended to me 15 years ago and I fell in love with it..... a great album all the way through.

  • My god....i was to manage u guys many yrs ago!!

  • Brilliant song

  • One of the greatest mysteries, I have no idea why KMO never made it outside of Scotland. Seen them many, many times whilst a student, even in my old local, the Uisge Beatha, Woodlands Rd - forget Oasis, a million times more talented - no copy cats, they had originality, lyrics, melody, passion and above all true talent - a rare commodity indeed. Obviously just lacking in good PR.

  • I was at the Ritzys gig. You are right, he should have been massive

  • i remember seeing these guys way back in the 80's at the Ritzy in Aberdeen, I can't understand why they never became fucking massive...

  • @londoniscool2009

I remember the Ritzys gig in the late 80s, and also saw them in Villas (on Crown St, top of Windmill Brae) around the same time. They were great live, Marco Rossi was a superb guitarist.

His Mother Natures Kitchen album is still one of my all-time favourites, even if I don't hear it for a year or more I can sing every song word perfect from start to finish. I'm off to dig it out and play it - followed by Bedazzled.

His later stuff wasn't too shabby either.

  • Clip comes from 'Stairway To Paradise', a kind of weegie culture prog. from the '80's. Some good stuff on it, too. Theme tune by The Blue Nile. This K. McD. track had a slide guitar on the original where the fiddle is on the live track. Preffered the slide meself.

  • even if you dream in colours of Red White and Blue

or you believe that Paradise is where good and bad collide

This is from a Classic album which should be better known - also track down Farewell To Jenny Lind , guy was genius.

  • brings me back to the good ol days

    ali Jock

    isle of skye

  • I am with him now and believe me he is huge

  • Oh wow, this is great.
