@hhhrolling I don't mean to butt in to the conversation but the US is a country of immigrants. As you said before, European immigrants did colonize the US but by no means did they colonize all of it. Spain, France, England, Finland, Denmark, and the original Native Americans effect our culture very much. America, being a fairly new country, was pieced together by several different societies, and frankly, without the immigrants, i don't really know what the US would be.

This, however, may come from my relatively narrow world view from living in a small mountain town, and lack of experience in the work force, and politics in general. I am only 16.

So I live in the USA and I love the song, satire or not the song holds so many truths and I can't help but laugh at the pointed out stereotypes. though not everything about the USA is bad, we still have our many issues and they are screwing the rest of the world (and our citizens) and this song just puts everything into a satiric perspective. @MrsHolliValo For me it's much more complicated. Gorgeous scenery isn't going to help me make a life for myself. The career path I've chosen won't help me much outside of the USA. Besides my family left Europe centuries ago and now they're all here now. I'm very close to them especially my nuclear family, I can imagine living that far from them. But that doesn't me I won't visit there, or Asia, or Australia but that's it. I have my reasons.
@PsychosisxMINE Visiting other places is nice and when you do you'll have an enchanting time. I can't imagine living forever away from my family eithor. Careers are a necessary part of staying alive, that's for sure! <3

If you have not yet watched "the making of the USA videos" please do ... it shows statistics how the usa using the most gas and oil -- does not have mass transport, etc.. it calls attention to things needed to be addressed. usa is HUGE yes, but so is europe..and you can go ANYWHERE by train, bus,ship even to england with your car! no need for owning a car-- can still go country to country. The US has to wake up. Finns don't hate them luv!
@MrsHolliValo That's a lot easier said then done. I was born and raised in the States so I understand that cars are a status symbol. Asking Americans to give them up has little chance at success. You forgot to mention that Europe's population is much more condensed while the US's is more spread out. Mass transit just isn't possible in most places. Don't get me wrong I agree with you. I'd personally would love to be able to take a train from NYC to LA but it's just not possible.

To be honest, yes, every country has its problems, the thing is that USA affects all the other countries in the world. When they fuck up, every other country has to bear the consequences as well (financial crisis, anyone?) and the US government doesn't seem to understand that their actions don't just affect their country.
But, as I always say, try to keep an open mind. Not every American is stupid and racist just like not every German runs around in lederhosen. It's just a stereotype.

woah! I expected something a lot worse from a band called "Lovex", it's still not anything remarcaple or even very good IMO but I was able to listen this all the way through without getting annoyed. Positively surprised. This band has potential, I'll listen some more before deciding if it'sshit or not
Lovex is one of the best bands out there. I don't speak for the band but I think they made this song to open america's eyes to what their own government is doing to their people, slowly killing them and doing harmful things that affect the rest of the world. As a finnish american I stand beside Lovex in their message with this song. :3

That's not what the majority says. There have been only 2000-15000 protesters on the streets supporting the Occupy movement. That's not a lot. If you have not yet watched "the making of the USA videos" please do ... it shows statistics how the usa using the most gas and oil -- does not have mass transport, etc.. it calls attention to things needed to be addressed. usa is HUGE yes, but so is europe..and you can go ANYWHERE by train, bus,ship even to england with your car! no need for owning a car-- can still go country to country. The US has to wake up. Finns don't hate them luv!

@MrsHolliValo That's a lot easier said then done. I was born and raised in the States so I understand that cars are a status symbol. Asking Americans to give them up has little chance at success. You forgot to mention that Europe's population is much more condensed while the US's is more spread out. Mass transit just isn't possible in most places. Don't get me wrong I agree with you. I'd personally would love to be able to take a train from NYC to LA but it's just not possible.

Since it's only the States involved get team has its own city and region so I purposely support the opposite team, just to piss off my male friends and brothers. To be honest, yes, every country has its problems, the thing is that USA affects all the other countries in the world. When they fuck up, every other country has to bear the consequences as well (financial crisis, anyone?) and the US government doesn't seem to understand that their actions don't just affect their country.
But, as I always say, try to keep an open mind. Not every American is stupid and racist just like not every German runs around in lederhosen. It's just a stereotype.

woah! I expected something a lot worse from a band called "Lovex", it's still not anything remarcaple or even very good IMO but I was able to listen this all the way through without getting annoyed. Positively surprised. This band has potential, I'll listen some more before deciding if it'sshit or not

Lovex is one of the best bands out there. I don't speak for the band but I think they made this song to open america's eyes to what their own government is doing to their people, slowly killing them and doing harmful things that affect the rest of the world. As a finnish american I stand beside Lovex in their message with this song. :3

If the government is doing something in USA, it's because the people want it to. If the people don't want it, they can make the government step down easily. Finland has the same values. So before you make any false and baseless statements, please look at what the experts have to say. Even if you don't feel good about the country, it means nothing. That's not what the majority says. There have been only 2000-15000 protesters on the streets supporting the Occupy movement. That's not a lot. Compare that to the recent demonstrations in Russia with more than 100000 people attending despite all the risks of getting beaten and imprisoned. Despite the Kremlin propaganda.
