I recently used a recovery disk on my computer so it was fresh in sense in software, and later in the same DAY I had adware, and some phony antivirus trying to install itself.
Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed, check out this site called tubeviews [dot net] It has really done wonders for me, I have built 3 Channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on.
Now uv started readin dis dunt stop. This is so scary.Send this to 5 ova videos in 143 minutes. When ur done press F6 and ur crushes name will appear on the screen in big letters. This is scary cause it actually works
Here in the UK ISPs are including protection when you subscribe to their full broadband package. In the case of virgin it is called PC guard and it includes antivirus, anti-spyware, firewall, parental control, identity theft protection, pop-up blocker, privacy manager, could you get any better than that for free, I don't think so. it's the second thing I do after a fresh install, works for me :-) hello from over the pond.
i use kaspersky internet security 7.0 but it's getting slower with newer updates. now i'm trying nod32 security suite, eset smart security. it hasn't slowed my computer down at all and found a trojan in some pictures i had on a flash drive. both are expensive but i don't trust the free stuff. you get what you pay for...
I just bought a sample version of McAfee and Im thinking about buying the full verision. Afeter trying so many free versions...I just decided to buy one...and It was worth it..
Some of the worst rootkits hide as device drivers, and are hard as hell to get rid if once installed. You can think you're completely free of the virus and it'll be set up to come back every month or two or in a year. Avg won't even detect most of them.
What was up with that man on that video? Looks and sounds like a muppet

I use gnu/linux Fedora. With selinux set to enforcing, and an effective default firewall it is almost impossible for me to get a virus at all.
If i wanted to filter files for redistribution I'd probably use clamav.

Before you connect to the internet or a network you should install AV an firewall programs. AVG an Zone alarm are both free an very efective.
My personal preference is for Zone alarm paid edition with its anti virus.
Muff208bty 4 years ago
AVG sucks ClamWin is better.... AVG overreacts to everything half the crap it calls a virus isnt even a virus or harmful what so ever.
