Quickscoping with steady aim allows you to center in on your opponents easier due to the smaller crosshair.

Popshotting is easier because of this.

Also, I would know because I'm a competitive sniper.

The only thing it does is making it easier to place the enemy in the middle of your screen, as the crosshairs are smaller. It does not help with noscoping, only at very short distance, because it doesn't matter if the bullet goes 2 degrees off center, or 50 degrees. It still won't hit. Steady aim does not make your bullet go straight, it only makes it bend off at a smaller degree.
