New Horizons Thomas Kinkade

I did not like Kinkade when I first started learning about painting..My favorite artists where claude lorrain, da vinci and other classical artists...but as I learned more about art and started finding my own technique and become more open minded, I also became more aware and humble. I now find Kinkades works true art, his use of colors are really good and although I have my own palette and use color differenty, I do appreciate and admire Kinkades work. He is a very talented artist.

I wouldn't go that far, kinkade is bad but not as bad as those two. Kinkade lacks real substance but at least it's some substance. Ross and alexander have almost no depth or expression. Brushwork bent toward special brushes and tricks that look even more cheesy and fake than kinkade. let alone they have no tonal transitioning or character within form.

kinkade paints in a very diffrent style than roos or alexander, sadly to say nomatter howmuch i like ross and alexander. Kinkade is waayyy better.

The sky is very well done, but this Dutch preacher/painter would have made the sea less blueish and add more grey. But maybe the Pacific actually looks like that. What do I know ? I've only got the North Sea.
