Tigeramigos, I believe that "Some Hearts" is a song written by Diane Warren. It was originally recorded by Marshall Crenshaw for his 1989 album Good Evening. Carrie covered it on her first album.

That's so true. I saw an Oprah episode on Country music and Oprah called her the Country princess or Cinderella, I don't know exactly, but something like that. And she sang Just a Dream. And I was blown away and the song Ever Ever After, when she's hitting those high notes, I just keep watching with amazement and you can tell how easy she does it.. I just wished she would be more popular in Holland.

@RyanP91 , I don't think back-up singer realize that Carrie can go that high vocals with her vocals and hold that long without a problem, which Carrie quite a bit. That's why Paula asked her on American Idol, if she was trained that way and Carrie surprised and Randy and even Simon by saying no. It comes natural for Carrie.
