d minor the saddest of all keys.

Sad depending on intervals, scales and modes etc. D Minor is used a lot when drop tuning comes in because your root and tonal note are your heaviest and your lowest string so that note is in key when you palm mute which opens up more variety, although depending on modes you can still also drop tune, use the lowest note and be in say the key of C but in D Dorian. See ya :)

No but I always swallow three raw eggs before recording - that does the trick. For extra growly performance you can chew them. If you you just want the Hetfield growl you can swallow them whole. (you should try this!) :o
