@KJ47 Yeah, this is exactly why he said WWE is his home. He knew people were aware he was going to Hollywood but he wanted them to know he appreciated and loved the business and even if he's gone his "heart" I guess, would always be there and when the time is right he would eventually come back for a program or two. That's why here he said he'll never leave the WWE and that's why after he returned this year said he'll never go away. We're gonna see him every now and then for moments like this.
Am I the only one who's sick of everyone saying how good the WWF was in 2002 compared to now? I don't watch wrestling anymore but the WWF was AWFUL in 2002 (and the later half of 2001 for that matter). Just look at the arena there, the entire upper tier completely blacked out compared to 98 - early 01 when every arena was packed to the rafters. Wrestlemania 17 was the final curtain to the attitude era, after that it was pretty much all completely dire.
@MarkLyell actually 2002 was triple h's return.... and that is one of if not the biggest pops in wwf/e history. hbk came back, and that was amazing!! 2002 was not bad at all.... attitude era's last year.. then.... 2003 went downhill

I've been watching wrestling for about 22 years. I've watched people like Ricky Steamboat and the Hart Foundation. Watched the introduction of the Undertaker; and Kane. Marveled at the acrobatic skill of the Hardy Boys, Edge and Christian too.

I've been watching wrestling for about 22 years. I've watched people like Ricky Steamboat and the Hart Foundation. Watched the introduction of the Undertaker; and Kane. Marveled at the acrobatic skill of the Hardy Boys, Edge and Christian too.
But between Hulk hogan's "Real American" entrance music; and this promo done by The Rock; this...THIS is why I still love wrestling :)

@walrus2009 when stone cold walked out on the wwe during summer 2002. then vince though austin was coming back and it ended up being a suprise return by the rock after promoting the scorpion king.

don't get me wrong, i am one of the millions and millions of the rock's fans, but just throwin this out there, but isn't the rock being a hypocrate now? i mean he says he has come home, but isn't at the shows every week. he does tv, but it's via satalite. seriously, i understand he doesn't want to work a full schedule, but damn it, stop jerkin the fans around! either stay or leave!
