@ChiisaiRamen Gerry's poor performance was due to him obviously holding back and Evan having to play the role of both the spike and noob. Gerry couldn't give a single solitary shit about any of the non 5 good cards in the set. The set sucks and when your opinion of almost every card in a crap set is 'this set sucks' you tend not to say anything when a possible show is lined up for you.

hey guys lets say a creature has protection from black and is blocked by a creature that is black with death touch first off can the black creature block and second does the white creature get affected by the deathtouch?
@polleyb6838 It can't block, and if it would somehow become black after having blocket it still wouldn't be able to deal damage to the pro black creature. And no dmg means no death touch.^^
@polleyb6838 If it has protection from black, it can't be dealt damage or be blocked by a black creature, and can't be targeted by black spells. That means that if your opponent initiates the attack, and you choose to block with a pro black, your damage will be dealt to that creature, but theirs won't be dealt to yours. Since deathtouch requires the creature to deal combat damage first, then no, it won't kill your pro black creature.
If you hate GerryT, you dont know tournament magic; if you love the magic show you dont know tournament magic. I can't wait to have a show that will actually give me an informed analysis of meta games and shifting card usage.

Brad Nelson was awesome with the New Phyrexia set review, because both he and Evan brought a certain entusiasm that made me take an even greater liking to the set. Gerry and all of his "I wouldn't use this card in constructed," and "I would never draft this card" just kind of sucked all the energy out of the review. Don't get me wrong, I want this to succeed, but I just don't know how pulled I'll be by it when I see it.
Gerry is not a good host. Evan has all of the personality, videos with gerry are painful to watch. Just because he is an experienced player does not mean he makes a good host. I would pay not to have to watch this.
