Sounds like your parents sound like mine too. We can often be products of our environment, but if our environment goes completely against who we are, then why would we continue to live that way just because our parents choose to, ya know? I agree with everything you said. You're a wise man!! And go suck on some throat losenges or something -your throat sounds like it's killing you! Cheers my friend.

It is curious how those of us whose parents were extremely judgemental are often those who strongly object to that view and are often considered to be without values.
It's crazy how things change with what kind of info people share with me now that my gender is more "solid" appearing. I would have had problems being that diplomatic in the beginning of people asked silly pointless questions but i'm tired of it now so i never give plain boring questions. they are now forced to think about it!
