@DarthRushy Yeah, the ending was the only decent video we got as Dark siders. It would've been nice to have a short exchange between Yun and Kyle, before his duel. Something about Yun getting disenchanted, that Kyle was like all the rest of them, and how he had volunteered to face Kyle alone to redeem himself.

@DarthRushy Well, I'll disagree with you here. I like the whole "main character becomes evil emperor", though I do think the Jedi Academy dark ending was done better. I like the Jedi Academy dark ending better than its light ending. The worst dark endings, I think, were in KOTOR and its sequel.

@DarthRushy Ohhh... yeah. They really skimped on the cutscenes for the Dark side, in everything except the very end.

In KOTOR 1, you basically take over the big evil thing instead of destroying it, and you use its power to command the Sith and be the big leader guy. Like this ending here, only not quite as cool.

In KOTOR 2, it's almost exactly the same ending as the Light Side version, only you hang around in the big evil place instead of escaping it as it blows up.

TFU2 ending:You die and an evil clone of your template murders every main Star Wars character. Jedi Academy ending: You take over the galaxy. Every ending rules. Is there a Jedi Outcast ending too?

@DarthRushy No, one of the things that bugged me about Jedi Outcast was that there was only one ending.

If you haven't played KOTOR 1, it really is a blast. The best part of the game is the Sith Academy. You end up killing almost all of the Sith, sometimes in ironic ways. (SPOILER: One part has another student bully you into giving him an artifact you found, but you can give him a fake version of it, and then he turns it into the Sith headmaster... and gets killed for finding the wrong one.)

After this new Emperor orders Sariss to destroy Rebels on Danuta, at this time he kills many people of Nar Shaddaa. Destroys Rebellion's only underground mine on Ruusan and kills Luke Skywalker. At the end Lotent Maukaw turns into the greatest Jedi and brings him back to the light side.

Many then defected to the side of the rebel alliance afterward- Eg many of the members of Rogue Squadron were trained by the empire then defected. Han solo as well, was an imperial officer, but couldnt execute a rogue wookie, and was kicked out. That Wookie was Chewbacca

There's also the reason that using actors is mostly considered as just a fad of the 90s. A fad most people disliked and in a way I can't blame them.

Most of these games had horrible acting (the acting in DF2 is surprisingly good), were very low-budget, the video quality was often worse than on YouTube and many games had the actors as the main selling point (many of them can't even be classified as games).

Personally, I think it's a shame the idea of actors in games has been abandoned.

Oh but has it really been abandon? Dont forgett that in Force unleashed they used reall actors. Not like this but stil they used reall actors face to create the characters in the game. And Kain in the legacy of Kain series was created with its voice actor in mind.

Granted, there are a couple of exceptions. For example the Command & Conquer series has strictly stuck in filming the cutscenes.
