"Farvel og Tak" - Kirsten & Søren (Hot Eyes)

Just heard this song for the first time a couple of days ago and find myself humming it constantly now.

I can imagine it in a German national final. It's so very different to the three ESC songs of Kirsten & Soren. She has a very strong voice.

Edith PIaf? Funny you should say so. Kirsten actually later played Edith Piaf to acclaim in the Pam Gems play at Det Ny Teater in Copenhagen, Ballads rarely do well in Danish ESC,unfortunately. This attempt is definitely an interesting change of pace for the Danish Eurovision duo. Somehow ABBA inspired isn't it. I could hear Agnetha singing it

Kirsten and Soren are the gods of Eurovision - this is great but I would have voted for Trine Dyrholm this year.

Come on. anyone can sing along to this from the minue they hear it. Because it is catches you immidately. just too mad with the way it was presented with him there in the middle. The peformance should have been hers alone with singer in dark in the back.
