@MasterMoose00 The pot set itself is actually specifically designed for use with a small canister stove. It could also be used with a white gas stove or, as is my case, an alcohol stove (either homemade or not). With the white gas and alcohol stoves, however, you run into the issue of the flames coming up the sides and burning your fingers as you use the pot gripper. That being said, if you put it on an open fire, you'll have difficulty getting it off, due to the flames all around the pot.
@nroc13 You're right, it can. I found the fiberglass wick to work significantly faster (15-30 seconds faster) and while very slightly heavier, more effective
I think the spork, or "foon" as they call it is an awesome concept. However, I do worry a little bit about it's flimsyness. I'm excited to finally get to test out the foon in the field this weekend. Going on a solo, one night, 46 mile hike in Mt. Rainier NP. It's a prep hike for the wonderland in august I will be doing in four days. This is my first year employing ultralight backpacking techniques, and though my total weight is still around 26 pounds (goal 20 or less) I feel great. thx 4 comment
nice vid, though I don't like multi-piece sporks because they're a pain to clean

@macar6913 i see you dont think it would damage the aluminum at all tho?

@MasterMoose00 Probably not. It's a very high quality aluminum. I haven't put it on a fire though, so I couldn't be totally sure.
