"One man's trash is another man's treasure" sort of thing. If you actually took the time to contemplate this work...you might get a piece of it. This album is incredibly rich musically, and the lyrics share a journey toward personal freedom. Possibly give it another listen, with the attitude that it is a story of a journey, and you want to actually hear the story. I notice some songs on this video that didn't make it...wonder what they were...they sounded catchy!

fucking amazing album. how could people say this is a bad album when raditude just came out. there is one good song on raditude. and NO its not i cant stop partying. make believe had like 5 good songs. haunt you everyday is my favorite though=]
k so blue album was beast, but its true what theyre saying, they cant jjust release the exact same stuff over and over again. Make believe gets hated on wayy too much. its pretty good
Great video, thank you for uploading this. Make Believe is my least favourite Weezer record but that doesn't mean to say I don't like it. With the likes of The Blue Album and Pinkerton, its hard to follow those records up. I just hope Weezer come over to the U.K soon or even better play Glastonbury because I'll be there!
Honestly, all the records coming out now that are sub-par as compared to the bands usual greatness are seeming to be made with the help of Rick Rubin... I say, get Rick Rubin the fuck out of my Linkin Park and Weezer.
What? so I love metallica. very talented. they make me angry though. And I agree...it is easier to make heavy, angrier music. Thats just the way it is.
make believe is a pretty average record.. a few good songs, but nowhere near the genius of the first 2 albums. it's the sound of weezer dying.. and now they're dead.
make believe is great even though beverly hills is incredibly stupid! the rest of the record is poppy catchy dynamic sad/hopeful reflective apologetic and very melodic. at first the record sounds dull but after 2 or 3 listens it sucks you in! WEEZER still rocks
I never understood why Rivers didn't show up in the video :/

@TheOneAndOnlyDeirdre you's so right, it is a jewl of an album
so what if weezer wants to mix things up right? we love them all the same
and plus this album does have the raw "old weezer" sound etched and weaved into the "new weezer"
this album is great
