I think that the Mexicans should get some Mexican Americans to play on their teams. Most international tournaments in any sport allows players to represent a country despite not being born or from that country. Ex:La Clippers' Chris Kaman who was born in Grand Rapids, MI represented Germany in the 2008 Olympics even though he wasn't born or live in Germany, but German Descent.
@tmcfootball96 thats stupid and i dont know if what u said is true but if it is , its really stupid. u represent UR country, were u were born OR where u lived most of ur life
@VoodooSmash i don't know man, it has happen before. 2004 Olympics, the Greece Basebal national team had mostly Greek americans from the minor leagues as a result of lenient citizenship laws. Maybe the Mexican team should have gone after New York Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez especially when the NFL is currently in a lockout.
Live long and Prosper. Byegone.
How often does this happen? because i didn't see anything this 2010 year. i play football in Mexico and it is not supported at all, and the players they took to play at the JWC weren't exactly the best. they where just ordinary players... lets say it was like if the USA took Arizona football players instead of Texas or Oklahoma (which are better than arizona). I WOULD LIKE TO RECIEVE A REPLY ON HOW TO GET MORE INFO. i know the website but i want to know where i could find info on the scouting.

I think Japan is a great football country rising , but i think that mexico is still the 3 best country in football in the world, after USA of course and canada, the ONEFA (Nation organization of football) didint let the ITESM play, wich is a nation wide university with campus all over mexico and has the best football progrma since the last 15 years, so if the ITESM players would have participated we would have won that game

I know im mad late but w/e just want to get my point across.
I watched all of the games full on the JWC website...
I think team Japan and Mexico would be able to compete and/or beat any "state champ" high school team in the U.S. This includes the major high school football states; Tex, Alabama ect.
Ofcourse... a team made up with the "impact" players of said "state champ" teams... is a different story, as we have already seen.
@JahobesDaGreatest....um i wouldnt be that bold man i mean USA gave up 3 points total and these kids were together what...a couple of weeks? The way football is set up in the USA is kids in high school usually have been playing with their team mates their entire lives from when they are little kids. Given years together just makes them better as a team. Not to knock on the rest of the world because i really hope the sport grows.
@JahobesDaGreatest also look at the tackling from 0:06 to 0:08...im sorry but that is poor fundamentals and if against a top high school team i dont think the kids would have even got there in time to even make a tackle.
Ok im not being bold when i say that these national teams could compete with the USofA top high school teams, their quality teams.
Bro look at the team the US put together... right now i would bet my life that over a third of those guys are going to play in the NFL in the next 2-5 years...
If team USA went on a road tour of the 50 states... they would be shiting all over some of the best high schools too.
Lastly, lets not forget these are 16, 17 and 18 year olds.
@JahobesDaGreatest you are entitled to your opinion but keep in mind like i said before these are not the best. Take some advice from someone who has been an avid fan since i was little. These kids were good but nowhere near the best. Look at some of the colleges they are going to. Our Qb in this tournament is going to BAYLOR (not exactly cream of the crop). You are out of your element here man. Also they are all 18, which in american football is the most crucial time to excel. Read up on it.
Yes, team USA was made up of all graduating seniors. But some of the other teams had younger players who were up for the challenge.
Secondly these were some of the best high schooler's in our Nation, please do not go as far as saying "nowhere near the best". All you have to do is go to the JWC website, look at the roster and its filled with top 100 prospects. Their are some questionable.. but the coaches wanted representation from ALL 50 states.
@JahobesDaGreatest seriously man go onto the USA football website and look at the schools these kids were going to. Storm Kline was the only one going to a school (ohio state) that is capable of winning a national title. And in this tournament the kids were all seniors read on the website. The only thing i'm getting at is you said these other countries could take on Texas Cal, and Florida high schools. I'm sorry but that is just way to out there to believe.
i agree it has but i quote what you said "I think team Japan and Mexico would be able to compete and/or beat ANY "state champ" high school team in the U.S. This includes the major high school football states; Tex, Alabama ect" just shows me you need to watch this sport A LOT more. The BCS has nothing to do with kids who are new to the game and have obvious room for improvement. Look at the poor tackling on the foreign teams. You think they could beat a texas state champ? Im sorry but thats nuts!
haha as i stated before... we are doing nothing more than clashing heads now I did respect your opinion, but i retract that statement now... so let me brake it down for you: Im right your wrong... thats just my opinion sooo im sure you will take the time to reply... but let me remind you that I wont take the time to read your response.
HAHA WOW...dude let me "break it down for you". If you make a full blown retarded statement you are going to get backlash for it. Anyone with half a brain (you seem to have less than that) who watches this sport would have read your comment and laughed their asses off. At you not with you if you were wondering. And if you got your precious little feelings hurt over me calling you out on your moronic statement then you need to grab a tampon. Football is not your forte, try soccer drama queen!
@AZCprez23 well did you see the game team world vs. USA? the US won by only 14 points and again many of those team world participants were sub 19! i tell you football players from abroad need to be scouted much better
