People hate on Coldplay because Coldplay represent what real music is. Real instruments, talented melodic song writing and creating emotion. Some people cannot understand this because all they listen too is angry, hateful, and violent music that is empty and pointless, like the people listening to that junk. Martin's voice range is super man, I don't always like it but in X&Y & Shiver it is giving coldplay an extra "dimension". And I think it is very hard to sing falsetto live.
