I am pretty sure that this is the video that landed Jason Anick a spot playing with the John Jorgenson Quintet. Jorgenson typed in "Jazz Violinist" and this is what he got, then following up with Jason.
hahaha yeah that's how I learned that fact! I was working at the cafe that he (and I guess you, too) performed at in Frankfort, Kentucky on the 12th. Amazing show, by the way! I looked up this video just to see if it worked like John said.
these swing-cats make you look for more. Great music that let your feet tap and make you heart feel good. Lucky us people living in Amsterdam the winter-home-residence of Mr. Robin so we do have many chances to catch him performing " live ". Enno & his swing aficionados.
wow i didnt realize u went up to montreal, unfortunately i was in france that day and came back the following day... when are you guys coming back? This is Denis from Montreal, teacher at django in june
I saw that you were playing that wednesday, but unfortunately we had to leave that day. I'm sure it was a great show though! Good luck with everything, hopefully we can jam again soon.
Check out Jimmy Rosenbergs rendition of this tune on his "Trio" album. Absolutely an amazing and worthy tribute to Robin Nolan!

As a matter of fact, this video helped me get an audition with the John Jorgenson Quintet. John frequently tells that story when he introduces me!
